Okay Guys we have had enough negative aspects about this - can you take this
dicussion to a private forum - individual emails - although personally I
don't mind it as the GM I have to ask you to desist please.
Clint, I never thought I'd ever have cause to suspect you of
censorship!
However, whilst on the subject of things that should and
should not be done, can I ask people to PLEASE desist from
quoting vast chunks of previous emails - especially just
hitting the reply button on the digest. I get the daily
digest(s) and am frankly far more fed up with having to
scroll past pages of quoted junk than
I am reading well though out arguments on the 'lighthouse
story' thread.

Heh - there is a difference between my own personal ethics and the ones I
use in business... Just reflecting the views of the players here...
Discussion on censroship anyone?! (Nope please don't).

Just because i've ordered an agent to kill a free
commander doesn't mean I would order someone killed in
real life (however much my noisy neighbours tempt me).
but I think the type of person I am shows in the type
of game I play.
Good guys (stags comes to mind) make great team
members . Evil/nasty/ruthless dudes (no names
mentioned to protect myself) play a mean/ruthless
game.

no time. too busy on the cnn bulletin board when I'm
throwing in my two cents on the nude black women in
the photo called 'yo mama at the last supper'.
thanks
din
p.s While its a nice photo (excellent use of colour),
I agree with the mayor.

No, I have to say that this disappointed me too. I guess the temptation
of the Aunt Maud costume was just too much.
Its seems slack to ask, but din othar is the name I
use when I play yahoo hearts and backgammon.
I was asked where the name is from, and saying 'one of
the main agents from the long rider nation for the Dak
servant side' wasn't going to be understood by those
who don't play the game.
Was din mentioned in any of the tolkien books ?
thanks
din

No. Khamul is the only one named, and that is not cannon, being in the
Unfinished Tales.
Ohtar, the sheild bearer/standard bearer of Isildur, IS in the books. Din is
a word for "Dark", I believe, from the ICE stuff.

Din, just answer that it means silent soldier in "Tolkien Slang" , it's enough for them to conclude
you are crazy. If you go on the PBM topic, that will lead them to conclude you are also psycothic,
and that can be bad to your public relations :PP

RD: No. Why not just say he's a character from a fantasy game?
Richard.
