Hello all,

I was curious as to what information there is floating around
concerning the One Ring. No one seems to ever end a game with it is
it because it is simply too hard / no fun to through it down the
drain of Mordor?

Too lame I would have said

I think mepbm would benefit from the following:

Remove the one ring way of winning the game completely and let the artifact
actually be used.

Heres my vote for what it should do: +50 stealth and allow 2 skill orders in
a turn :slight_smile:

actually be used.

The Ring has been found and used to win the game. I
don't know how many times, but is has been done.

The problem has been in controling the ring once
found. Remember it will always slip off any finger at
least once after it is found. Also, once a character
claims the ring it way just as easily "claim" them and
the character is then lost. Also, whenever the ring
is found a message is sent to all nations in the game.
A lot can happen after that message goes out!

Wouldnt using the One Ring essentially be corrupting yourself though?
I mean if your a Free People character. If your DS, well then I am
quite sure Sauron would lay the smack down if you tried to use it..

In answer to the original question, you can win the game with the One
Ring, but it seems that most people dont start looking for it until
thier backs are against the wall. Not too mention the logistics of
finding it and keeping it.
