Hi,

There's a new virus out there, called Goner.

You get an email saying 'Hi, check out this screen saver' (or similar)

and a screensaver attachment.

As with any email that is from someone who you don't know.

DON'T CLICK!

You can only get the virus if you click on the attachment.

If you do get it, the first thing it does is cripple any antivirus software.

I advise you all to make sure you have AV software, and update it regularly.

Here is a copy of another virus I received the other day.
Thought you might enjoy it, and if not please just disregard it.

DEAR RECEIVER,

You have just received a Taliban virus. Since we are not so
technologically advanced in Afghanistan, this is a MANUAL virus.
Please delete all the files on your hard disk yourself and send
this mail to everyone you know.
