Time and Surrender

What's this surrender business. Anyone who wants me out of a game will have
to put me out: there will be no surrender.

It depends on whether or not you think the game is still enjoyable, when
most of your team mates have been knocked out, and you have absolutely
no prospect of winning. I know that some players do enjoy this King
Canute experience. A good games player might also however ask himself
this question - 'Is this still an enjoyable game for my opponents'. I
think it's _sometimes_ rather mean to oblige them to go on paying for
Clint's champagne and caviar when by conceding defeat you can:
1) Join your recently defeated team mates in a new game, before they all
sign up in new ones and say they're "over-committed" when you want a new
game.
2) Get good relations with the opposition team, and challenge them to a
re-match.

(Unfortunately it's not always
too difficult to put me out of a game).

Lol, yes this has been my experience too much of late. Perhaps
Harlequin should set up a Losers Support & Counselling group. Queue
Clint, "There might have to be an extra charge..."

I like to try to "live" my games. Being happy for my guys when they do good
and mourning them when they die. I can't do this if I play too many games,
so time is the biggest constraint on me.

Yes, the role-playing type. Actually, chaps like you worry me slightly.
You don't dress up a Nazgul costume to do your turns?
