Time and Surrender

Hi Laurence

We think you have a bit of a blinkered view about gaming. We
play for the
fun of playing not only to win. It's a funny thing, but in
lots of Middle
Earth games (as well as other games) we seem to find ourselves
alone without
allies as the rest of our team die around us. Game 44 is a
perfect example.
If we gave up and started a new game every time things started
to look bad,
we would be starting a new game every month.

I (David) only dress up as a Nazgul when I am playing a dark
nation. Thomas
on the other hand spends at least one day a month as a troll,
complete with
a mace.

Thomas wants to state that time is not his main constrant.
It's money. If
Clint was to reduce the prices he would play one game for
every day of the
week.

David and Thomas

PS If any of the Aussies in game 34 are reading this,

Reading ? Down here our voice operated computers speak it out to me. I think
reading is going the way of writing letters, ie only good for the oldies. I
suggest you lot in the old country are still using old, clapped out PII 400
or below ?

presumably you guys
will not bother sending your second turns but will be looking
to start a new
game <evil grins>.

I admit my harad have been in better situations. Corsairs everywhere, and
the SG fleet have moved down to smash me up.

But i'm FILTHY RICH, so I don't care.

Get those tinnies cooled: we Dunadan folk get very
thirsty on maneuvres.

That's right. Keep those armies standing still for our agents to visit.

thanks
m

p.s. when did you lot take to drinking cold beers ?
