I guess like many people I was amazed at the content of the
spreadhseet Mike Mulka has produced and made available. However,
after a successful test sending myself an ME turn I have just had two
failures of trying to send to Harlequin. Two emails sent, two empty
emails received. Help!

Hmmm... I haven't had any such problems.
OK, since you can send the e-mail to yourself, you're obviously copying the correct
data. Are you formatting your E-mail as plain text? When you send to Harlequin, do you
cc yourself to see what you get?
