Clint:
Need to make sure I am clear on this one...
According to the house rules:
"Games are generally processed at 10am on the day after the due
date. Please then ensure that your turns reach us by that time at
the very latest. Faxes can be sent up until 10am, but emails are
taken from the computer at 9am, so any turns sent to us via email
after this time will not make the deadline. We are very strict with
this. Note we are 5 (EST) hours ahead of North America so please
allow extra time for this. Every effort will be made to ensure that
the turns are posted or emailed on the day that they are processed."
Okay... now to put this in context...
Game 22 Turns are due April 4, 2001 (today). I am in North America
(EST)... so the latest I may reasonably submit my turn by email is...
4:00 am EST April 5, 2001.
Correct?
Okay, clearly I am no genius. Obviously, "higher math" was never my
strong point... gee, I wonder why my nation's economy is so poor?!?!

Yes - but you will need to allow for Email to get to us. This can take a
few hours in rare (but with so many emails this happens reasonably regularly
for us) cases.

Actually, is the Due date the date on the turnsheet or what? I get
confused by the wording on it.
Mine says "Return this turnsheet *before* April 5 2001" Does this the
Due Date is April 4th or 5th ?
One confused norwegian

So as long as I receive an email from you... i.e.,
"This is an automated confirmation that we have received your email
and are dealing with it. etc."
before the deadline... I met the deadline!?!
Correct?
Pathetic newbie...

Not 100% correct I am afraid - all it means is that we have got your turn -
it could very well be late but if you get the reply before the deadline then
you will be fine - try not to leave it to the last possible moment as we
find this causes SS turns. This is for the players so that you know that we
have received your turn, and you'll note that the time we send it out is
when we have received it. (Near enough).
