Turns

Is this really pertinent to the game? Since it seems to be there are 7
continents. North America goes down somewhere in Central America (therefor
NAFTA - North American Free Trade Agreement between Canada, the USA and
Mexico) and Australia is part of Australasia (or Oceania or whatever the
newest name for it is) which includes Aussies, New Zealanders and the rest
of the small islands around there.

RD: No it hasn't. If NA covers as far south as Panama, where the

hell is

Central America? Brazil?

Central America is part of North America. It's not a separate
continent unto itself.

C'mon man, we all know you guys want to rule the world, but

GEOGRAPHICALLY

speaking, NA stops at the southern border of the USA and CA starts

there.

Sorry, but Mexico was never part of Central America, and even if it
were it would still be part of the North American continent.

The Caribbean islands are a separate geographical entity and I

don't hear

any Caribbeans calling themselves American.

Sure they do. They are members of the Organization of American States
(except for Cuba, which would like to be) and all part of the
Americas. Admittedly English speaking Caribbean people rarely call
themselves "Americans," but Cubans, Puerto Ricans, and Dominicans are
unquestionably "americanos."

You guys in the USA and Canada are North Americans (and the only

North

Americans) until you can come up with a better description.

Well, my whole point is that there is no unambiguous name in English
either for US citizens or for the people of the US and Canada
considered together.

Sorry,

Mark
