Two Move Orders

Greetings,

I just want to address an issue that many players have asked us about. This
concerns issuing two movement orders. An army commander CANNOT issue a move
army order and a move character order with the assumption that the move
character order will work if the army is wiped out. The reason for this is
that 810 and 840/850/860 orders are all skill orders. As such, the computer
only allows us to enter ONE order - the other one is simply ignored. We
cannot enter it in the system, so the computer never gets to determine which
order is valid. This has been the case ever since I started moderating MEPBM
back in 1992. Somehow, the idea that this would work has spread to many
players. Simply put, it can't be done. In such a case, you will have to
determine which order is most likely to work and issue the order based on
that information. This is the same with all skill orders (see p. 19 of the
rulebook). We hope this clears this issue. If you have any further
inquiries, feel free to contact our office for assistance.

Good Gaming,
Stuart

I've just picked up the Harad in game 86.

I like to talk about declaring an allegiance, especially to those freeps who
are swarming all over my pop centres.
