- It costs least for your company to process auto-input orders.
- It costs somewhat more to process e-mail orders (labor
associated with
manual inputting of orders, additional labor associated
with errors
associated with this process (either on the player's or
the company's part).
- It costs even more to process postal orders (postage, paper,
ink, even
more labor, etc.)I have difficulty understanding how some people can not seem
to grasp this
concept.
We understand the concept 100%. However, you missed out a
very relevant fact: some people are going to be penalised,
not because they insist on using the old way, but because
they *cannot* use the new way.
Here's a real life analogy for you:
Way back when, I worked for a company in Wolverhampton. The
office was a five minute walk from where I lived. A few months
after I started there, they moved offices to Dudley. I didn't
drive at the time and the bus service wasn't exactly direct, so
I depended on a collegue for lifts. We were told that we still
had to keep "correct" office hours, though. We both mentioned
the inconveneince (he had to go out of his way to collect me)
and when we asked for some flexibility we were told: well, it's
not a problem for most people. And that was that as far as they
were concerned.
We both left the company shortly thereafter. Along with quite a
lot of other people, as it happened! So much for not being
a problem...
