Good analogy. Get another job. Life isn't always fair to everyone, as you have seen with your job.
Look, they are raising prices anyway. Mike, through a ton of personal initiative and work has come up with a way to save money himself money and others in his category. Make your own program, get it approved by Clint and company, and there you go, you will save money too.

Here's a real life analogy for you:
Way back when, I worked for a company in Wolverhampton. The
office was a five minute walk from where I lived. A few months
after I started there, they moved offices to Dudley. I didn't
drive at the time and the bus service wasn't exactly direct, so
I depended on a collegue for lifts. We were told that we still
had to keep "correct" office hours, though. We both mentioned
the inconveneince (he had to go out of his way to collect me)
and when we asked for some flexibility we were told: well, it's
not a problem for most people. And that was that as far as they
were concerned. We both left the company shortly thereafter. Along with quite a
lot of other people, as it happened! So much for not being
a problem...Gavin
