The main benefit of this release is that Middle-earth Games can now use the Forums to do email announcements as a replacement to the mepbmlist Yahoo Groups. By default, all Forums users will now receive an email when someone from Middle-earth Games posts a new topic with the category “GM Announcement”. Replies to this email will be posted to the forum thread and not sent as emails.
