Guy anyone interested in forming a US Grudge team… Seems the French have formed one… Maybe it’s the begining of National grudge teams again. Though I do consider myself a very poor choice for to lead any team. I’m just a bit to harsh for such a role.:rolleyes:

Okay, that wasn’t fair, but it was just begging…
There are numerous national teams, check out the PRS team rankings (link to MEGames site at the bottom of the forum…). US1 thorugh US4 already, I believe. Germany, UK1-3 or so, Scandinavia, a Team Canada I’ve never heard of (after failing to put the same together years ago…), the Australians etc, amongst various Named teams.
What’s been a surprise to myself since first seeing the French National Team item on the Games Filling list…is why an American group hasn’t challenged them? I’d have expected that within minutes of the first email weeks ago… 
I wouldn’t be able to keep a straight face. Every time I see that “French National Team” listed I can’t help but think of the Monty Python skit of the Man With a Tape Recorder Up His Nose. [playing La Marseillaise, for those not familiar]
Note these are players playing from the French licensee wanting to have a go at the “Big-boys game” so it should be entertaining.

as I think about it, it’s interesting that no french seem to be playing this game, considering that most european nations have at least some players. I remember playing with a french in the olde paper days ages ago, his name was Pierre Savelon, I remember his neat handwriting, his diplos were the only ones one could read without several skill ranks in deciphering
If the Catalonia Earth Spanish team would go ahead and concede G33, our multinational grudge team Veta Schola would be glad to “school” the French standard bearers.

Yes I realize we had US teams in past… But i was not playing when they was formed… I guess I advertising to be on one of them… So if anyone Interested in being able to put up with me contact me Misonor@yahoo.com. I am quite sure I played with and against quite a few of those US national team members…
Team Simpson is multi-national…something like 5-6 americans, 1 Germ (pun intended given her profession) and the rest being from “the Islands”.
We should be ready to start up a game here in the next 3-4 weeks but that ball is in John Simpsons court. Just an FYI if anyone is thinking they’ll be up for 1650 grudge 12v12 in that time frame.

Having said that 
I play with the French and I’m actually French-canadian. I look forward to play with the French team who might end-up being a mix “Canadian/French” and seriously kick some american butts. Especially if the gentleman who made this comment is part of the opposing team.

More attention to detail, if you please. Notice the author was Canadian and not American, much less a Southerner. We just insult folks who REALLY deserve it.
This gentlemen is french canadian too. thanks to ed for his attention to detail, the lack therefore of is decidedly international, unfortunately. i’d happily play against anyone who proves here they don’t read, it’s likely they don’t read their turns either.

Well That’s what this thread was for… If i’m not one of the Big boys from America then it’s only becuase I believe in ensure the team win before Victory points… So anyone interested in forming a US team since None of the Former teams have the the gutts to issue a challenge … National teams should be fought against national teams…

Seriously though recent history not in favor of the French team when it’s last military victory dates back to Napoleon…
Just remember there are some who would die still to this day for everyones right to speak freely whatever their moralistic view is…
