Drew,
You know I respect you despite your political viewpoints on certain topics. But we discuss those off-list.

Really we don’t want MEPBM bulletin board to be a French-bashing or American-bashing or Canadian-bashing (see, I can bring Brad into this as well) sort of place, do we? golly gee whilickers Drew! aw shucks. Not to mention that individuals who live in countries and who might identify with nationalistic pride with their country might still be ashamed regarding certain aspects of their country’s behavior, so what is the point of bashing the country? bash the country’s government, not the people, and do it in a political blog.

come on… admit it… you got nuttin in OK that can compare to Nice France in the nude beach dept. :wink:

I don’t know, nudity can be pretty controversial. Especially if you’re ugly.

I don’t know of any nude beaches in OK. We’re far too prudish here. A coupla topless beaches in Hawaii & Mexico are about the extent of my experience in that regard.

And I fully agree that bashing governments for policies beats the heck out of chest beating, xenophobic stereotyping. You know that when I make fun of Californicans it’s because I get a reaction out of ya. <g>

I gave up trying to be forum cop a while ago. It’s better to just let the “court of public opinion” pass judgment. Well, and Clint. He’s free to pass judgment here as well. :wink:

In other news, I do like to have a jab at people who take shots at other people/countries/religions/clothing preferences. :smiley:

Interesting that when the French made the statement nothing was mentioned… But when an American express’s his view at statement was made…

The only problem with nudist beaches is that the majority of people who like to frequent them are usually the last people on earth who should be alowed to be naked in public. My eyes, my eyes,:omg: the burning!!!
