I would consider advertising MEPBM in the primarily US magazine "Realms of
Fantasy." It is carried by Barnes and Nobles (large US Bookstore ). "Realms of
Fantasy" is not a gaming magazine, though there are games advertised and
articles written on the subject. the articles are on movies and books and all
aspects of fantasy.
I rarely see "Dragon Magazine" out side of specialty gaming store and I would
think that it's readership would be much more limited.
Another US magazine that is carried by Barnes and Nobles is "Renaissance
Magazine," which is geared toward Renaissance Fair and reenactment type of things,
though it also covers a music, books and games.
These may be more costly than you had in mind, but they reach more people.
