I say the two Greatest nations are Great Briton and the USA -- these two
Nations have been allies since the USA was tecnically founded -- of course we
had our little squabbles -- but when these two nations stand together -- NO
ONE stand against us for long !! (WW1 , WW2, Argentina, Yugo, Iraq -- etc !!)
Yes -- i am proud to be and American who is Married to a Beautiful English
Woman -- and at my Wedding my brother who was best man stated "today America
get the best of England " in relations to my wife marring one of us uncouth
Americans !! I am proud to be married to a wonderful English woman !!

Hi,
With my serious hat on, can I say that I really do not understand
why there should be so much rancour between GB / US on this list. Yes,
it's a laugh to poke fun occasionally, but some of the stuff going on
goes way beyond that.

Which should be the point, surely? ESPECIALLY after recent
tragic events. Let's face it guys (on both sides of the Atlantic) we
share a language (mostly) and a large slice of culture and common
historical and national interests. If GB doesn't stand by the US (and
vice versa) exactly who does anyone think will?
By all means let's carp at each other humourously from time to time,
but lets be aware that we're generally on the same side?
Given today is Thanksgiving, can we remember to be thankful for allies
and friends, both political and personal, and the bonds between our
two great countries which have only been strengthened by the events of
September 11th.
