Vedr. JOverseer

I have recently started to use JOverseer and I lowe it, but now I have a problem. So far being a neutral I have only used my own XMLs. For the first time I have started to use also teammates XMLs and then something goes wrong. I find the XML on our yahoo-group. If the turn is stored in a zip-file then there is now problems. But if the pdf and the XML are separeted then it fails. I try to move the xml to the folder where it shall be stored. then it is stored as a "internett shortcut" (translated from norwegian) and the JOverseer is unable to read it. I dont know what goes wrong. Guess it is only me not knowing how to use my computer and W7, but I have tried to do this in difrent way and it fails. If the turn is stored in a zip file then I simply open the zipfile and move the xml to where it shall and there is no problem.

  Hi all,

I have released version 1.0.8 for JOverseer, which can be found at

http://joverseer.googlecode.com/files/joverseer-v1.0.8.zip. You simply

download, unzip and copy over your existing files.

This version has some very important improvements with respect to reading

the new XML files, and I strongly suggest to anyone playing games with the

new XML format to download and use it.

*However, I have to emphasize that due to the large number of improvements,

there may be things that do not work correctly. So ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK WHAT

YOU SEE IN THE PROGRAM AGAINST YOUR PDF FILE.

*And as always, if you find any problems or have suggestions for

improvement, don't hesitate to contact me.

A complete list of changes can be found in the changelog (open JOverseer,

choose Help --> Changelog).

Regards,

Marios

Right Click on the link to the file on the internet page (yahoo groups Files
section..?) and select Save File As and then point it to the appropriate
folder. The file should then download as an xml and be read by JO.

Cheers,

Brad
