England, Wales record wettest autumn
It has been the wettest autumn on record in England
and Wales.
Even with a couple of days left, 469 millimetres of
rain - more than 18 inches - has fallen since the
start of September.
That is the highest rainfall since record-keeping
began in 1766.
The average for autumn is 230 millimetres, or nine
inches.
.....
Send some rain down here. Its going to hit 35 today
(which is bloody hot). And our dams are running at
about 70% capacity (god only knows what it will be
like after summer is over).
thanks
din
ps. anyone willing to bet on when Gore will concede ?
I think Clinton is giving Gore lessons on never
surrendering to public opinion.
