I am wondering about making this group moderated so that I have to allow players to join it. It's the only way I can efficiently stop these sort of postings. Feedback welcome and issues to discuss about this. I won't be moderating posts from players, nor blocking anyone joining that is a legitimate player of our games.

I would be ok with a moderated group. However, the
subject postings do add a bit of humor.

This seems a reasonable step. Personally I don't find the occasional
spam email a problem - I get far more every day to my personal account
- but on the basis that someone is bound to object, it might be best
to switch to a system whereby membership requires approval. I hope
this wouldn't mean too much extra work for Clint though ...

So far, today alone, I've received mails with titles which include

Okay I need more feedback on this. Most seem to not be too worried about the occasional piece of spam. But others do care (I have a couple that mind) so would like more feedback before making a decision.

This is possibly a situation where a poll might actually be justified for a
change. The question is fairly simple isn't it?: "Should this membership
of this group be restricted to people approved by MEPBM games in order to
exclude spammers? y/n"
Or is the question still "Wanna Play Nuaght?"

The thing is, Clint, if you don't stop them now then the spam will snowball.
The list address will be distributed as "active" within the spamming
community. That's how this scum works.

Anyone know of ways to survive these encounters as an
FP? These are fo good chrs I'd love to save, but they
don't have the challenge rank to win combat.
- Orcs rampaging a village.
(the standard encounter list says Flee or Join might
work, but I've never seen either of them tried.)
- chased by a mist
(The Slyardach encounter. Saying "Lhachglin," as
suggested, doesn't work -- tested earlier this game!)
Lives are at stake. The future of the whole front.
Plus a couple nice character portraits. Any help
