I've just realised that the winners of the News from Bree "Midsummer Riddle Competition" may not have received their prizes. Details below ...
Dave Wilson - Two free MEPBM turns and a year's subscription to Flagship magazine
Steve Pickering - Runners up prize of 1 free issue of Flagship magazine
Oystein Tvedten - Runners up prize of 1 free issue of Flagship magazine
Chris McGowan - Runners up prize of 1 free issue of Flagship magazine

Which hexes the turn maps for the imported nations cover.
Øystein
Those are hexes on your turn maps, recons, etc.

Those are the hexes you can see on your various maps, so they have accurate/current information.

E pur si muove!
These are all the hexes that are visible to anyone who's XML file you
imported for THAT TURN.
(Note that it doesn't necessarily include scrys, but I think it does
include recons... Or maybe the other way around? In any event, not
necessarily everything is there, but all the turn maps should be
included.)

It means your team could "see" that hex that turn, whether on a nation map
or scout etc.

They indicate hexes that you "see". These include hexes that appear on
every nations map plus recons, palantiri and scry spells for the
specific turn. Fog of war if you like.

It includes anything that you have a map for basically
Many thanks (to the whole chorus!) Now, how do I get it to show me which
hexes the enemy can see?

One interesting thing I would like to see discussed is changing the points for 1000 games. So some abilities are often considered to be too much or too little.
We can't code change it but I'd still be interested in getting some viewpoints on what would be better - maybe even a Bree article.
Also would anyone be interested in a Gunboat 1000. It would have regions so that if you choose a region in area 6 (South Mordor say) then your second set-up would be in Region 1 (NW are around the Iron Hills). I could get someone to create a graphic of what would be the areas.
Thoughts?
Clint
Clint,
I've had a 'regions' map on my website for some time. I tried to divide
it up so that resources are shared, (though some regions just don't have
much in the way of mountains/hills.) Take a look and see if it's what
you need.

Hi,
Hmmm, FA1000 gunboat. sounds like fun ... though one of my existing GB
games would have to finish before I could commit. but in principle, it
sounds like it could be a lot of fun.
2 positions or 1 position?
Colin

I reckon I need 11 players I have around 3/4 interested at present. Colin's interest makes it 4/5. 2 positions separated geographically.

We don't do it that way - anything that is quality we'll give you a free turn for...
Note we don't generally give a free turn for game reports nowadays though.

Um if players like then we'd certainly consider offering that again.
