You wind people up about stuff from 10 years ago ("hey remember in 1992;) when XXXX issued a massive 315…) , so if your going to do something abstract, at least make it memorable.

Yes but its getting a bit dangerous now. Have you seen the number of new names with few posts? Experienced players incognito or what? MAkes me wonder sometimes who Im really winding up and what I might have done to them in another game…lol. My main grudge teams gone now. Fletch, Murray, BenMin, Russ the zombie corsair to name only a few. They all playing PC games online for the most part now.

last 2 years…
Its so easy. midnight the battle commences Macedonian vs Egypt, after
all reinforcements have been beaten off you finally turn to see the time and
its 7am, daylight is streaming through the windows and your other
half has locked you out of the bedroom… Despondently you turn to
sleep on the couch, waking up a couple of hours later to groan through
the rest of the day… :eek:
At the end of the day you realise you forgot to send in your orders! LOL
Guy do your turn as soon as you get it. Just make sure not to go bankrupt and send your orders in. No SS’s then and you can always change the orders you submit.

between PC gaming, rock climbing, work, children and the xbox i’m surprised i don’t miss my turns all the time. Once again thank (insert local God name here)----- for the team captain that can get defacto orders in.

Read my comment above. Most players seem to be experienced enough to knock a set of orders up in the 1st 15 minutes. These of course can change but as long as you don’t bankrupt the nation then you can send them in straight away and thus eliminate the SS.
Now I always do a quick draft the same day I recieve the turns… In
fact the orders dont change much except for team requests and ofocurse
team co-ordination to when the orders are sent…
And no I’ve never bankrupted in all these years… 
I have, spectacularly once or twice. Even to my beloved Eothraim which was poor. I had 4000HC ready to roll on turn 3 not including the 3 starting armies I’d lost. Still would love to have known how that one would have gone.

Yes, the Selucideans and Carthaginians are fantastic empires to command,
the Sacred Band are very hard to kill like in history. Hannibal brought
85% of them back from his 10 year Italain campaign… But for all round
options I love the Egyptians… Fast charoits, great archers and great
spearmen…
Can’t wait for Medieval War 2!!! Looks out of this world…
