Going to get a setup for a middle earth game, but not sure which of the two scenarios is deemed better? Haven't played for quite a while and just now getting back into it thru email having played snail-mail many years ago.
Has it changed much from back in the day? Anyone got some input? Thanks much.
I think they each have their pluses/minuses. 1650 has large armies which enable you to get into "the thick of things", whereas 2950 seems to allow you to develop your characters a little bit more, before going headlong into battle.
Both are enjoyable, but I've also preferred being a Dark Servant. After a while people get to know everything pretty well so it comes down to individual strategy and teamwork.
