I am playing my first MEPBM game. I've been playing
G50 for 15 turns.
Bankruptcy is sort of mentioned in the rules, I'm
not stupid enough to
go that way.
heh, heh, heh, har, har, har. I've been playing middle
earth since 2950 g1 in oz. Anyone remember when SFGA
started this game ?.
So I felt that I knew my orders without looking at the
book.
I WANTED to order sellcar food 10,000. But instead I
used the three digit code for bidcar (310 instead of
320 I think they are)
Clint's policy is to (a) email the person if he can't
work what they wanted to do, or (b) use the code - not
the name.
Since it was very unlikely I had stockpiled 10,000
units of food in one pop centre, Clint used option
(b), and changed the name to bidcar (actually I would
have done the same myself - since its more likely that
I wanted 10,000 units of food for an army).
Food was selling at 1, and buying at 3. You can
imagine the effect of spending 30,000 instead of
buying 10,000. Since my deficit was about zero, I had
little money in my bank (why give it away to the enemy
agents). Hence the 40,000 had to come from tax rises.
Poo happens
din
High taxes and spending have been the
downfall of
historical regimes. It's not a useless rule.
no, but its a slack way to die

Cheers Adrian.
