one setting I would dearly love to see, but know will never be done
probably.
A First Age setting, the Noldo vs Morgoth, with the neutral men and
dwarves as well. Recreating the time period of the great Battles from
the Silmarillion (my favorite Tolkien book :). Alas, one can keep
dreaming.

how about sauron moving from ds player to ds player (is it possible?)
for him to randomly be "recruited" like a character from a deceased
nation?
this would simulate him moving among the nazgul as the leader...
RD: Great to hear from someone who is a reader as well as a games player
(altho I'm sure there are lots of other readers ou there as well!).
Obviously you can't play First Age on the current map because it would need
a totally different map.
If I remember correctly, some different company (not GSI) has the rights to
First Age stuff (correct me if I'm wrong?) but if there's any room for
manouvre, I'd like to hear about it!
By the way, I just won �12,000,000 on a rollover jackpot in the lottery, so
I would be quite happy to buy up all the rights to First Age if whoever
holds such rights would get in touch (I wish!).
