Ladies and Gentlemen:
From receieving over 100 messages on the topic I have
noticeded that most people seem agree to the following
point system:
Major Victory: 3 points winner 0 points loser
Minor Victory: 2 points winner 1 point loser
Surrender : 2 points winner 1 point loser
That seems to be the consensus. I see the major
sticking point seems to be about having draws and
surrendering. I would suggest that a draw be 1.5
points to each nation.
draw : 1.5 points each.
I believe that a draw (or conditional surrender)would
include those games where the winning team has more
players left than the losing team but not enough to
'force' a concession. (ei. 11 players to 9 players)
I believe that by giving each team 1.5 points it would
be the most fair.
If the other team offers a surrender and the other
side accepts it would get the 2-1 point split.
As a member of the US team, I think this would be a
scoring system that my teammates would agree to.
Now as for the number of games and who plays who,
THAT's another story!
