I have been chatting to some players about this format. What about a Team
championships? Lots of teams have players from outside their country so
this would be more favourable.
I am presently working on the idea of double elimination (ie a team gets to
lose twice before being eliminated) with seeded teams. As some teams find it
hard to find 12 players I would like to make it a 2 nation game (you could
play with more than 6 players in your team if you so desired).
So if I had 8 teams (2xUS, 1Aus, 1Germ, 1Botr, 1World Dom Team, 2xUK, 1GM?
team, 1 Scan are sort of available but I would not expect all of them to
take this up)
then I would have the following (as a rough idea).
Seeded
US1 1
Aus
Germ
UK1
UK2 5
Unseeded
Brazil 6
US2 7
World Dom 8
1vs 8
2vs7
3vs6
4vs5
(or some variant with the lower seed given choice of allegiance, then round
2 the higher seeded team choice of allegiance).
Begs the question would we be allowed to play? 
(We'd love to but I
understand that if you have not played against or with us that you might be
cautious about such).
Note all are very much negotiable and I would love your feedback.
The format of the game is still up for grabs as well. Nothing is set in
stone yet.
