As a neutral observer, might I make a suggestion.

This is Clint's call, but maybe the WC games should be flat
fee -- maybe
pay
for a fixed amount of turns regardless of how many any one game goes.

ICK !!!!!!

I shudder to think of how much a game cost from start to end. Paying it off
in installments is a much better option than one (generally upfront)
payment.

thanks

That would remove the monetary incentive for both sides, and allow a
more natural game. If Clint set the fee at the "average" turn length,
everyone comes out ahead.

Well, I wasn't trying to suggest how payment be collected; again, that's
Clint's deal. I'd just like to remove an OOC factor in the tourney.
