Once I get the first twenty five players there are several choices.
1) Randomly allocate - as it is quite a new game I am happy to do that.
2) Points allocation - with preferences
3) Normal allocation.Any preference?
given that I also think the free are getting to be ecomonic giants compared
to the DS (maybe give the ds higher characters stats since the nazgul were
pretty tough), I would recommend random allocation.
If it wasn't random, I would like to play free.

Subject: Re: [mepbmlist] WoTR first draftHi,
I can well remember the first time I saw the 2950 set up. I
went straight
toBarad-dur and was disgusted to find a poxy MT/castle. If for
nothing else,
Richard gets three cheers from me for putting this mighty
fortress back to
howwe all imagined it. The Mordor DS should at least take heart
from seeing
thisbrute on their maps each turn.
Whether the DS prove to be outclassed economically I'm sure we'll
discover,
although the amendments seem reasonable to me and I look forward to
playing. The
only way to really test the balance of a game like this is
to play it.
Are there any thoughts yet as to how positions will be allocated?
regards
Chris Soanes
