WoTR G29

What is WoTR???

RD: WotR stands for War of the Ring. This covers the same period as the GSI
game 2950. Where GSI's 2950 gives you a more character-orientated game
(but weedy armies), WotR tries to be truer to Tolkien's writings, enabling
players to wield armies of thousands rather than hundreds.

Richard.

WoTR is the War of The Ring and 2950 variant with increased pop centres as
well as some character and army changes at the start.

Now we have been joined by the large US MEPBM community, we can finally get
an answer to that age old question: how many One Ring victories have there
been? (The last count I saw said zero.)

I have cast Locate Artifact True on the One Ring maybe 50 times in the last
year all games combined and never had the spell work once. In previous games
I at least got a glimpse of who had it and where! Given those odds, I don't
see the point of the possibility of such a win being included in the game.

Anyone able to prove me wrong?
