Yahoo mail query

Hi

Been busy for a few months but looking to start a new game shortly. However remember reading on the digest a couple of months back that there was trouble with getting orders via yahoo mail. Can anyone let me know does this still apply? If so need to get a new mail option sorted out.

Also just tried voting on the poll for most common type of mepbm you play but got an error i.e.

“Not Found
The requested URL /poll.php was not found on this server.”

It did however let me see the current vote results so not sure what’s wrong?

Switched to hotmail for a lot of things. Yahoo does “upgrades” that cause your turns to be lost in transit.

We’ve had a lot less complaints recently so maybe it’s sorted itself out…

One can but hope :smiley:

Never had a problem with yahoo myself.

A little while back yahoo was screwy, I was getting mail 3 or 4 days after it had been sent, been fine since.

Thanks to you all. I’ll check with a couple of mates who know a bit more about computers about possibly changing to hotmail but sounds like it might be OK.

many firewalls block ‘any’ yahoo emails as spam :frowning: many other ‘freemail’ services don’t seem to have the problem as much. Aussiemail and hotmail to name a couple, there are heaps all with ‘similar’ mailbox limits and stuff.
