Sorry have not had the chance to even look at my opening turns yet. Will be a little while as I will need to formulate a very strategic strategy with the Free nations. Really looking forward to the role-reversal here. Will contact both you and ME when my orders are in.

It is a bit different, but it’s nice that the DS are far more aggressive in the early game - troops to burn, no money to lose. Or is that the other way around…?

It is nice not to have any ‘real’ restrictions on how you play with the DS as you do with the Free nations in BOFA. Above all have fun with the Warg Riders and Goblins and sometimes you just have to take chances. I know I did and most came off.

You played very well - not that I am hoping to emulate you particular moves, rather your style. It’s not an excuse to say that my attention was not fully on the last game because of IRL issues (you still would have won - I suck at defense!) but I much prefer the aggressive style of play on the DS side of things. I tried thinking about how to be aggressive with the Free and whilst the Dwarves can do it, the NM and Elves can’t and the Dwarves are so far away from everything!

I do agree with you about the Free nations in BOFA, 3 against 2 seems fair but I still think the Dark have the advantage. Just look at how far away their pop’s are and the fortifications on the Warg capital. I am really going to have to come up with something good for this game. Should be finished with my orders soon, way before the deadline!

Good good! Yes I think that agents are actually the Free’s best friend! And their terrible economies their worst nightmare! But it still sucks being on the back foot - let’s see if you can take the battle to me!

Well after much deliberation and mental breakdown on the first set of orders I have finally finished. I do agree that really all the Free have going for them from the start is the agents but even so most of the characters are needed recruiting and hiring new armies so your basically stuck playing a military game with them until later on. The only important question is this, "who is going to play the Free in game 3? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm…
