If you can share without compromising your position, let me know who wins on monday. I am hoping to make it out to Kansas City this year as I call on Kansas and Missouri. If I do make it out, I will have to stop by and visit.

Any chance you’re referring to the Peanut? Damn good wings there…
No, Darrel refers to Buffalo Wild Wings out on Metcalf. The Peanut up north did have great wings but it closed a couple of months ago.
Brad
Tim, let us know when you are in town and we can meet up to eat some meat and drink some brewed beverages. Favorite KC pastimes. lol. Tuesday nights is game night for us usually so if you are around then… all the better.
My email (at work as I will probably be changing home e-mail soon is darrel.senior@uug.com)
Wow, now that was an action packed turn!
-I see the DS magical forcefield of agent repulsion worked at the IK capital…saving it from destruction this turn no less. Just have to laugh when things like this happen.
-Corsair capital falls…but then you guys lost 3xMT’s…with the WK finally being rooted out of the northwest.
-Hmm, it’s going to cost a lot of gold to recruit Murazor.
Tony has a magical touch on recruiting characters.
He only paid 3k to recruit Duran, and I am not making that up. I think his emmy was only a 40.
Thanks for the artifacts, hopefully we can get them out safely.
Clint (the player) posted an article about the last face to face, he had some intersting information that you might find useful.
Who won the bet, and who gets to eat an extra spicey hot wing for me?
tim
Sorry, I don’t know yet who won…it was a one-sided bet anyway…but I suspect that I do not owe Brad a bunch of chicken wings but need to see his pdf before knowing. Don’t worry, many a wing will be eaten…maybe tonight. lol.
I’m not going to chase some vague article written by Clint. You can make your point here or after the game if you like. If you are alluding that going 0/3 with 90+ agents resulting in the deaths of 2 of them is normal and not the product of a measure of luck…then we will just have to disagree.
The article wasn’t written by Clint…basically however the jist of the message was that assassinations in hidden pop centers is very difficult…kind of like trying such in Minas Anor, or Dog Lord capital against army commanders (fortifications work against agent actions etc.). There seems to be a theme there. As such, hiding the IK capital probably decreased the potential success rate of your assassins. It certainly seems to have from this turns results. I don’t think there really was THAT much luck involved.
Lucky for us really. I can see the logic behind not wanting the enemy to know where your superstar agents are, hence hiding the pop center…unfortunately, i think the hidden pop center worked against your agents performing their intended functions.
Besides…if you think that eliminating the starting WK pop centers put him out of the game…boy oh boy…you really do have a low opinion of our team’s abilities…
Ah well…we finally catch a break.

Tony,
I was a bit concerned about Elladan as Hoarmurath had hurt him pretty badly last turn. I think that if he had been healthy he would have survived his failed attempt. I do think you guys got lucky though.
As for the Witch King, not just losing population centers, but the fact that a lot of gold was taken from him over the last few turns and the fact that his hidden supply center was looted by the Dwarves had to hurt.
Losing the Havens was a foregone conclusion however you paid enough to take it. It is good to see the fight is still on, it was so quiet for so long. The mourning will be long and sorrowful for Elladan but eventually the Noldo will extract their vengance. We live forever and hold a grudge for at least as long so we can be patient.
Brad
Nope, actually I was just trolling/joking about Murazor. Besides, you wouldn’t go under last turn anyway…given that you still received income from those PC’s except for 1806.
This should generally mean that the WK is in a deficit position of enough size that a small error in coordination, orders or outside interference might prove troubling…but we know that would never happen.
Nope never,
Murazor should rise from the ashes and smote any pointed ears that get in his way.
Tim,
Neither of us won the Chicken Wings. I was right about one thing and Darrel was also right in his assessment. Over all we think it was a pretty good turn for us.
Brad
Rumor has it Uvatha has a case of the sniffles…I hope nothing more serious develops.
With the winter comes a bad outbreak of Nazgul flu…nasty stuff that.
Ok, the IK capital is revealed and is toast.
Oh well, better one turn later than not at all eh?
Ok, so I lied. Hmmm…maybe it was this turn…
What’s this? A major town? Capital of the Ice King and virtually no one home? My allies say that it’s time for a change of ownership. Hope you like wherever your new digs are going to be Hormy. Perhaps a palantir scry on you would be nice now.
Little orc, little orc let me in.
Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll tear down durthang and put up a nice elven day spa and maybe a starbucks.
Morannon, hmmmm…definitely condo’s with that nice view and maybe a ski lodge although the Dwarves will likely beat me to it and will want to build cellular phone towers a pub and a large gaming convention center.
No retort from our friends on the other side of the fence? Well we will see if we can help the Woodmen weather your upcoming character assault. Still back to the cats tail. We hope to take a bite out of yours this turn.
Brad
Maybe they are frustated because the Corsair nation is still not dead.
Good plan to move on from Haven, too bad I figured you would do it.
Martin / Corsair still alive and kicking
It has been a good game, very interesting…however, barring a major surge by the DS…this game will be winding down shortly.
I don’t doubt our DS opponents can fend us off for another 10 turns or so but by then it should be a bug hunt.
