Why so quiet Freeps? Do you not want to brag about how the combined Cardolan/Arthie/Woodie/Horse boy armies are trashing poor little Rhudaur?
Oh I forgot, you’re not.
Nice of you to give me some more dragon recruiting time by not moving this turn or was that a mistake?
Now where are those encounter tables…
Actually we are still in amazement the easterlings blatantly lied to us. Disgusted is more like it. It is a shame as this was shaping up to be a good game.

Until demonpuppy wrote that cr*p and directed it at my nation, I was very much going to join the FP. My whole army movement and character creation was aimed at attacking the back of mordor. I would now be the proud owner of a couple of prime mordor pop centres and the game would probably be coming to a climax.
Live and learn by diplomatic mistakes. All I can say is apologies to the Noldo, whom I was keen to team up with…
Did you like the co-ordination in mordor to block pretty much the whole FP offensive thank demonpuppy for that The DS are co-ordinating really well now, don’t you think.
Noldo, maybe we can be on the same side in another game.
You did blatantly lie to us, and I was actually pushing to give you ALL the details, detailed plan and the exact efforts we’d ask of you…man did I feel stupid when you showed up this turn in our turn sheets.
Hmmmm, let me see, you also had already done your 185’s?
I wouldn’t bank on wanting to play with or against any of our team in future games…we simply wouldn’t trust you.
As for the game…well I guess only the Haradwaith can swing this pendulum now.
You must be new to the game (and I’m not trying to be derogatory)…
How many commanders do you think I kept at my capital to downgrade and declare? It only takes 1 turn, and to be safe, I did it in 2 ( I’ll even tell you I used 4xC50s… 7 up/downgrades and 1 declare). What else is a neutral going to do with all his commanders?
and do you really think I was going to tell you… sorry I’ve changed my mind, defend yourselves, here I come.
Come on… would you have done anything different.
You only have demonpuppy to blame for me not joining you guys.
Look, if things are looking that bad, you can always drop and give the DS victory. It’s going to happen soon anyway
I only really emailed Noldo, so not sure where the lies come from.
Once the game is over, I’d be happy to share pdfs for the period leading upto my declaration. You will see where I’d positioned my armies and what I was preparing to do, and how I changed course after the demonpuppy email… but that’s only if you want to see the truth.

Depends on how you look at it, all the free are out except one player who insists on continuing for another two turns to see what happens. So have fun playing against one player.

Bull, you told me you where joining after his posted, acted all noble saying you understand he is a new player etc…
Anyway enjoy the rest of the game, as for it being fun I wouldn’t count on it, unless you just like going through the motions, enjoy the game or what is left of it.

That’s really sad if its true.
You guys are still on top of this game, but if you feel that way, then I suppose you have to do what you feel is right for you.
Not sure if I believe you though… more than 1 FP has moved armies this turn… off the top of my head Eot, Dwa, Nor.
This isn’t about us being bitter for Scorp chosing to go a different direction, that’s to be expected. But we had a committment from Scorp (Scott has the e-mail), then a reneg on that committment; nothing we can do, we just expect someone to stick to their word.
I will give it my best effort doing all the orders for the nations until futility is completely apparent.
Scorp, okay so you issued the 185’s this turn, may I ask when you moved an army into 3627?
This game can be played on many levels. Players should, by all means, play on the level that gives them the most enjoyment. But, they should realize that not everyone plays on that particular level.
Tolkien’s epic is a morality play. How persons make choices in morally ambiguous situations. Or, even morally explicit situations. Gandalf, Gladriel and Saruman all reacted differently to the Ring. The design of this game intentionally follows the Hunta/Diplomacy/Kingmaker format in that it requires ALL players to make moral choices. You are making moral choices in this game, frequently not realizing that you are doing it.
If players take the Gladriel route (withdraw from conflict) they are certainly making a moral choice. Evil goes uncontested and unpunished. Think about it. The ethics of the Playing Fields of Eton may not defeat Sauron…
Is that really it? I thought the game would be one that lasted for a little more than 10 turns. I’m amazed that hard feelings against a neutral will drive the lot of you out, if someone p’s me off in a game I would rather go for his nation in any way I could, but that may just be me? Are you guys sure it’s not just an excuse now that you see your offensive in Mordor come to an end, with the death of a few nice chars? A shame it ís I think, but it seems we still have one guy coordinating all of the FreeP nations, Alukianow I hope you can keep it up for a while, maybe you even has some friends that would like to step in an take over some of the nations, or maybe some of your team members will reconsider?
