Game 062

Well… it would be intersting to see that. The inhabitants of Rhun fighting it all out in Dunland. Interesting indeed.

I’m only teasing

Hail Mighty Warlords. Enions proxies have prevailed and I am now unltimate commander of the Dun forces. Would all nations please entreat to me, especially those that are arrayed against me. It seems my predecessor has upset a few of you. Aside from that news from out of our borders would be most welcome. My sorcerous envoy system can be reached via the legend lionatus@hotmail.com I look forward to hearing what you all have to say… Humblest regards, lionatus - Grand Marshall

Welcome to the game Lionatus, and a good game to the Duns…:):stab::smiley:
So, noone’s been talking lately, have the DS decided to give up and go jump into Mt. Doom just yet? :D:rolleyes::confused:

I know the art of commication isn’t what it seems. My inbox isn’t saying anything despite asking for thoughts. I know its a mute point but I would like some news. Kudos to one from both sides giving me a watered down rundown, well its best to keep some things secret… Maybe its time for the Duns to go for neutral domination, then again looking at my map maybe not…

I sent you a very clear and unabashed look at the war. You stated you’d get back to me.

I can hear crickets singing louder than the response since then.

I’m all ears for you but it’s a two-way road Lionatus.

I’ve also sent you an e-mail that I’m still awaiting a reply from… If you haven’t got it then let me know and I’ll resend it. Running out of time for the next turn though…

North Gondor

Had a message from me too. Was a hurried one, though, as most of our scribes are too busy watching the sea to worry about what is happening in our backyard.

/peers nervously over the parapet towards Far Harad and Umbar…

I too had a message. Again, if need be, i can resend it?.?

Yes, Sinda, The Corsairs say hello. Big whoop-dee-doo there.

Scrambling with little to go on, dammit. Wanted to bargain for “qaulity” rather than “quantity”, but it appears that my gambit has been challenging.

By the way, my esteemed Harad player, I am chagrined that you and I reached an accord on our aggression in the south, and then you show up on my doorstep with two armies in a blitzkrieg.

It may be prudent in this game not to be so chivalrous after all, I suppose.:bash:

Have I mentioned how much I dislike the movement rules recently?!

Anyway, now that you are here, my fleet dodging friend, on Gondor’s beautiful southern coast I hope you will enjoy your stay… Just don’t make it too long and too comfortable eh?

Sounds like things are warming up in the deep south too. It would have been game over if both Corsairs and the Haradrim had declared for Sauron, this makes things much much more interesting…

Mike

Sorry you feel that way. It may be a misunderstanding but what I’ve done is I think the normal policy, i.e. making it public on the turn you attack.

Although thinking about it you do have a point.:o Given that we have an agreement about not spying on each other by landing on PCs turning up with a couple of armies!

However given the position and the fact the free side is already under pressure I could not afford to give you advanced warning. I actually decided before you made your decision public so you saved Tony a lot of grieve as I was preparing an attack him until your declaration complicated matters. Depending on how much he has built up the past couple of turns that could have been interesting.

Steve [Harad]

Meh! I was going to pull a sneaky too if you hadn’t declared in the next turn or so anyway. No biggie. This game would be dullsville if we didn’t pull stuff.

I’m just miffed that you “stunk me” before I could “stink you”.

Bah! Why do you have to be so darn nice. It won’t be the same assassinating your commanders, charming away your pop centres and smashing your armies to pieces now.

Hmm, actually…

Well, Corsair armies come and go. But, are you sure the FP want to tangle with my fleet? Hmm, pretty tough decision there. Seems to me I would try to avoid such a confrontation.

It’s going to be fun stomping around the coast with the army, but at sea will prove to be exhilerating hunting-killing any and all FP fleets wishing to dance.

My advice, my esteemed Gondorians: Stay home and postphone any yachting events. The Corsairs of Umbar have already won the American Cup Trial.

Been a bit quiet on here (3 weeks since a post I think). I’ve not been on here for a while either, so I am a little late in thanking South Gondor for his complements on my navy moves. Thank you sir!

In other news it looks like the QA tooling up against Harad aggression was a good move. I still hold my capital and will remove more Harad invaders from the lands of my true ally the Corsairs this turn. And what fun it is having my little camps burned by all and sundry.

To think that up till now it has been a nice, quiet, peaceful game for the Quiet Avenger. Ah, all good things come to an end.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Mark (FK)

Hi All.

What a turn of events with the Corsairs dropping?

Cheers Adrian.

They appear very active for a dropped nation

Looks like things are hotting up at Minas Anor, looks like a Pelennor Fields re-enactment…

you know guys… this game has been fun… a quick viewpoint from the lowley Northmen.

Dol Guldor is razed:D, Sarn Goriwing gone too:p, though unfortunately; not before Duran gets out and makes trouble with the small pop centers of the Sinda and Woodmen:mad:. North Gondor seems to have all of Mordor on his doorstep, the Quiet Avenger is running emmies out the wazoo, and the Long Rider has been pretty quiet. The Eothraim is getting overrun by whats not at Minas Anor, though not without help. All seems quiet in Mordor… too quiet. Do i hear another sinister plot coming:eek::confused:…
