Game 062

What was that that you were saying? Disbanding not needed… looks like we Free people actually had the the good faith to save you the orders:D

Oh well… the Nor live on in the hearts of all free men, and the Bards sing their balads of the fearsome Dark Servant armies baring down on the poor inhabitants of Rhun, and how, though battered, they fought a hard battle, and look now to rebuild elsewhere, almost like Nomads, while the very talkative Witch King is soon to be removed from Angmar:rolleyes: funny how the ones who talk the most are usually the first ones out… (which might just mean that i’m next:eek:)

WHAT!!! You still in then?? Grrr… Which of the northern Freeps has given you a backup… Can’t be many to choose from… will just have to come looking…

You just can’t rely on any nation to just keep to themselves these days… too many busybodies joining in and spoiling the fun.

Regards

Michael

Yes… unfortunately for you, i’m still in… and won’t be the first out… but if you look to the south, you may be surprised at who inhabits that area now;)

Don’t look at me. Harad hasn’t done any real estate deals with the NM. Have you Mike?

Steve [Harad]

Prince Teldumeir walks the corner of Debauchery Boulevard and Rum Avenue and chances to see the seaward bungalows that of late have become the abode of full-time residents hired by the Corsairs to outfit their staff limits.

“No Northern people here, unless they have gotten very well tanned and piercd their noses and ears.”

Perhaps the Noldor are alluding to Southern Gondor. Most likely, unless the Quiet Avenger has softened her heart and opened her nests out to the FP!

I think…perhaps…South is a vague term when directed at the WK. Everything is ‘South’ of the WK.

Just an observation.

True my friend… quite true… such a conundrum… gotta new game for you guys… Where In The World Are The Northmen?;):D:p:confused::rolleyes::cool::):(:stab:

I wonder if you’re near me… hmmm… south… south… could it be southern Angmar??? maybe the treacherous Rhu is harbouring you…

or further south… southern gondor… hmmm… will have to investigate…

maybe they could offer me a new home too… I’m not very evil… only a little… oh ok… what I mean by only a little is only a little compared to my Lord and Master Sauron…

Well… all this depends on how far south, now doesn’t it… Now see, if you were in any other position, that would’ve been a dead give-away;), but being the WK, and being the nation that is farther north than anyother (yes, farther north than the NORTHmen:D) that makes it a little harder… so i’ll give you another clue, in the interest of good gaming… beware the Northmen… DUNS!!!:bash:

Rumours reach me that unfortunately the Dun player has dropped this game for personal reasons. I sincerely wish him the best.

I would like to immediately contact a replacement Dun player when one is appointed by ME.

I’d also appreciate if the Harad and Corsairs players would contact me on the e-mail address below. It has changed since I last spoke to you both.

My e-mail address is a.gowler1@sky.com

Many thanks

I have had some probelms with Hotmail lately in replying to many of the emails sent to me from both sides. I apologize for this. Damn Hotmail!

Anyhow, the Corsairs are making an announcement:

We have decided to join the ranks of Sauron and his servants this turn. This is due not so much on the diplomatic steps of both sides; everyone has been very cordial and helpful. The Noldo Elves and Southern Gondor have made every attempt to sway the Corsairs to their camp, but tactically, we just don’t want to give up our navies.

Yes, it appears that the Free Nations are beset (especially in the northeast), but the Corsairs could do little that way in striking the Nazgul. If the Witch King had been pummeling Eriador, that may have been a factor in the Corsairs going Free just so we can assist Cardolan and Arthedain.

So, you can see how important it was for the Corsairs to gauge events around the lands, and why we were asking for updates!

Now begins the next stage in our little wargame. The Corsairs most likely won’t last long - but - it’ll be fun nonetheless.

Thank you for being upfront about your intentions, o’ noblest of pirates. You have now started the Free team scrambling to downgrade you whilst sending extremely felicitious e-mails to the Haradrim

Looks like things are warming up in the south, should be an interesting winter…

Haha… don’t forget the fact that all of us are scrambling to remove ports/harbours:rolleyes: as well as gettin our navies ready for a colossal battle;) I guess its time to hit up the Haradwaith right quick:eek: send out or most gracious pleas and the like… We look to hopefully win him over with the most gracious gifts available from the Northmen… HUGS!!!
:hug::hug::hug::hug::hug:

Corsairs,

Enjoy the game, your choice, and your new allies…

And so the war continues…the easterlings, duns, and corsairs join the dark servents while the rhudaur is a free nation…who knows the will of the haradrim…

it shall all come to pass through this age…glorious battle awaits…

Hugs from the Northmen, the world’s most renowned merchants. Why do I get the sudden urge to check the contents of my purse?;):D:D:D:D

Steve

Yeah, I know, probably not the wisest tactical move in a wargame to declare an intention prior to the pummeling, but, what the hay? I thought if Rudy could do it, than the Corsairs will do it.

I see this position as a support anyhow rather than a direct offensive strike; but the Corsairs have a few tricks up their sleeves when it comes to seaside invasions, regardless of the destruction of ports and harbors! We’ll see if it pans out.

Now, where is that Gondorian fleet …

Ha ha… I didn’t know that the Haradwaith, possibly the closest nation to pirates after the Corsairs, carried purses! Maybe the Northmen will have to send gold along with our hugs and diplomacies. Maybe that’ll win 'em over?:hug::rolleyes:

Mike

Many thanks and total respect for declaring your intentions as opposed to doing a “Pearl Harbour” like your new ally the Easterlings.

Looking forward to the great naval battles to come.

Guys, just so ya know… the ‘Pearl Harbor’ stuff is water under the bridge. I just want to have a good, competitive game. I really don’t care if Adrian just straight up attacked me after saying that he wouldn’t. I still don’t care that he is in Rhun. He won’t be for long, and this is all old news. Maybe this is just the fact that I can downgrade to ‘hated’ with him, and he can only go down to ‘disliked’ with me speaking, but lets just play the game. From what i can see, Adrian is a competent player, and i look forward to playing in more games with him.

The suddenly very forgiving Northmen, under the flag of Gaerandil and Eoder…

Hi Guy’s.

Well said Jacob, I wish you a good game. Nice Scorched Earth policy from the Eothraim, well he’ll meet his match soon. Maybe I’ll come over and see the Northmen in Dunland? We’ll see.

Cheers Adrian,
Easterlings.
