This is the what 5th turn the power game has run on a one week due date? I understand that people have things come up once and a while but every week? We did sign up to a faster pace game if people can’t get their turns in then give some control over to some team mates that can put in orders for you.
Is there anything else we can do to fix this?
Clint are the same players holding the game back or is it a few different players each week?

Poor Rhudaur, even the Hobbits are coming out of the hills to beat him up, such an unpopular guy. Buck Hill Hobbits and Hobbiton Hobbits, Noldo, Sinda, Dunedain, Woodman, Dwarfs, I think even the Eagles swooped in a few turns ago. There is not going to be anything left soon…The Witch Kings second capital falls, Rhudaur best have a dragon with those 400 men or his is cinders. Truly the West is Free.
What happen to Ji Indur? Poor boy is feeling a little under the weather…yet another Nazgul fades and is gone from the war, not to be the last. I think its a good thing Ji passed on, so that he did not have to witness his capital sacked next turn. I’m sure he might have taking it out in Gondor or Corsair blood. Let’s take a look at the Pass: Din Ohtar, Curufin holding Greed, and others, so many targets…who’s an elf to throw some curses at?
The Dark Servants have grown very quite, hope must be slipping away. Not even the spirit in them to banter with us anymore?

Yes we will miss JI, but many others will take his place…and as it stands we DS have killed many more chars than you Free so Im ok with this…not like those cowardly elves who have to stand in the shadows to kill…and it takes 3 of them by the way to get the job done…pathetic…
As for my capital being sacked? Tell me Ironlord, you so sure thats going to happen? Im confident it wont, regardless I dont banter with you because your not worth the time, although it is fun to watch you rant and rave. Be waving at you from my capital for quite some time…

Now it would seem that there has been scant attention paid to the passing of one dear to the hearts of all of Harondor. Mighty Carlon met an untimely fate this past fortnight and we are woefully sad to report it. Be it known that Carlon led the Mighty Harad to many a victory. He will be missed. Let it serve as an example that we in Harad are all willing to die for our cause. Also, it would seem that one of our other notable personages disappeared while trying to rid Greed of his trinket. We respectfully request that you release Saphron immediately. Else we will indeed have to come and destroy your capital. Come to think of it, we’ll come destroy your capital anyway. Poor Saphron will have to fend for herself. The bigger question is just where dear Adunaphel has run off to now that we’ve destroyed two of her capitals…
Are we confident? well, er, em, no. But we’re brave and ready to die!

Well the game was mostly decided turns ago - but FP play has been excellent. Yes, Eagles thrice and you forgot to mention Galadriel camped out on one of my important towns from turns 2-7 (maybe 3-7, have to look). That was nice. And dragons are such fickle creatures, thankfully for Annuminas they are more fickle than dedicated. But a well played NW, the FP have done. I salute you, be it from the grave.

What is it with everyone? Didn’t we all sign up for a much quicker turn-around game? This game has been one-week turn-around almost every turn.
I am so wanting to destroy the CL capital… maybe CL is just delaying his orders to delay the inevitable… <grin>

This week it is Urzahil’s fault. Normally he has whipped his minions to get his orders in by Thursday night for a friday turnaround but this week one of his little ones had a double ear infection and a very high temp which brought him to distraction. From now on he will lock that one up in the closet so he can’t catch bugs from daycare.

Nightsbane - well, I do agree you’re putting your money where your mouth is… As to whether it’s the right thing for the DS as a team or not, I personally believe that is open to a lot of debate (ok, I personally think your agent actions have been sorely misdirected from a DS perspective, and a boon & blessing to us FP). But ok. I accept you as my personal nemesis. Shoot, you keep killing my armies and my characters… LOL. I have to accept you as my personal nemesis.
However, I do not accept that I will never defeat you, unless you count your team conceding after being utterly crushed, as you “not being defeated”…

I have read Clint’s post regarding replacement POWER players. I am reasonably certain we are not talking about replacing players that share my allegiance.
Do you guys from the other side want to throw in the towel? I am not claiming we have won, but I strongly suspect the game is now ours “to lose.” I am more than happy to participate in lopsided games, and I think this one is headed in that direction.
Indeed, fun game…I can hardly call it a good one, but I will chose not to elaborate on that one We had 2 players drop due to financial constraints and that hurt more than anything you Freeps maanged to dish out. Until next time, although I think people should really make sure (myself included), if they are up to what a POWER game is meant to be. Peace…

Well mine wasn’t financial, Rhu got its house cleaned! The other was doomed from the start, with the Iraq thing. But the lack of anything but 1 week turns made it a much longer game than anticipated, causing some to run into timing issues. I think that is fair

I agree JB our game should be on turn 20’ish not 14.
