Game 225 - War Begins

Your nations are being eroded. Mordor is becoming a box where you will be enclosed, and when we close the lid, beware that our boots do not smash you to bits!

With Free armies and companies roaming the mountains of Mordor, the deadly aura of that place is wearing off. Carvarad and others are turning against Sauron!

– Gildring

Whats this? The Noldo have come to Barduath! Excellent. Your paltry attempt to take the seat of the Cloud Lords power will be revealed as folly this fortnight.

Foolish elves, that which you do not know will kill you!

Shoglic

Shoglic, give your lord the following scroll:

Our prophecy earlier said we would seal your destiny, and now it is coming true. You have no hope in this contest. Araudagul is a paltry bootlicker compared with the Noldor who confront him. Will he accept challenge from one among our ranks?

Regarding Barduath, it is yours for a few more days. But the city is not safe! Flee to Kal Nargil while you can.

The conquest of Mordor has begun.

– Gildring, Herald of Master Elrond

We call on Celedhring to surrender and stand trial for joining Sauron and committing treason against the Eldar.

We will allow you face challenge instead, if that is your choice. But do not hide in Barad-dur. Before the end of winter, that place will be overpowered by the Free.

– scroll from Master Elrond

Hahahahahahahahahah!!! Fools! My Orcs are much tougher and more loyal than you gave credit for! Now prepare to perish!

Shoglic for the Cloud Lord

Riavod is burning…

Shrel-Kain is avenged

No more comments (for now)

So what, the Northmen are still out.

The hazing of Barduath will wait another day. The Free are now dominating Mordor just as we have completed control over Rhun.

Our DAZZLING armies appear as if out of nowhere and crush our dumbfounded enemies. Regent Bugrug stands tall within view of the Dark Tower, and Glorfindel will win two battles within the very heart of Mordor this fortnight.

The Noldor have stood at the gates of Barduath and walked away unscathed.

The signs are there for all to see. The fall of Sauron is imminent!

– Gildring

Stood at the gates of Barduath and RAN away you mean!!! Some ancient and wizened loremasters they were. A few paltry defensive spells was all you could muster. We expected much more from Elrond and Erestor. So much for the vaunted and much touted skill of the Elves!

Ha! Armies out of nowhere? Perhaps, but we will find you. Or maybe we already have…

Your petty horsemen are no match for the might of Sauron

You will all submit, much like the Northmen who now pay tribute to Sauron the Great!

Shoglic

When you sit where Araudagal now sits, shackled and whimpering like a baby, then we’ll see how much confidence you possess.

Your “loyal” orcs weren’t much use on the battlefield, while Master Elrond and Erestor saw to the rout of Araudagal’s army: 400 orcs lost to our handful of elite Noldorin.

We will master you again and again on the field of battle. You better come with more than mere orcs and their wooden sticks; we have mithril.

– Gildring

Gildring,

I have remained silent for several weeks now but the latest developments leave me chortling and unable to control myself any longer:

I see some pointy-eared bootlicker has decided to see what is afoot at Minas Morgul, and he has brought several incompetent lackeys. Rest assured your tired strategy will not work this time and you will have the same success that the Gondorian scum have had in their vain attempts to storm the gates of Mordor – that would be none, in case you haven’t noticed.

I fart in your general direction!

Murazor

Gilders old boy, what exactly do you control in Rhun?? Two steaming piles of rubble, oh wait, the mighty town of Dilgul. Woo.
Meanwhile you have a rabble of a couple of hundred stumpies running around afraid of our assassins and we have superior troops in the area. I dont see how that is Freep control?!? Id drop the bridges and cower north of the river if i were you.
As for the so-called assault on Mordor it has failed, the paltry Noldo armies that are springing up are pathetic. Ooo, i wonder where they are coming from? Bugrug shuffled off from Morannon at last, his hospitality was so poor i decided to leave his company, and his time is nearly up. Kinda lost his guard last turn, huh? At least he saw the writing on the wall and knew he`s lose the next battle at my capital. The Dog Lord nation is very much alive and ready to prove it…

DENDRA, back from his hols.

Gildring,

Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries! Away with you, Elven kanighits!

Ovatharuss

I’m poor, come and get me.

  • Ben
    Dark Lts.

Murazor, your power does not extend beyond the gates of Minas Morgul’s castle walls. Ithilien hasn’t been threatened by servant armies for quite some time. Your power is fading.

Dendra, the conquest of Mordor has just begun, so let’s not judge its success yet. Before the new year Mordor will be gutted and our superior emissaries will have raised flags of the Free in your cities.

I doubt very much the superiority of your troops. Witness what happens when the Eldar crush Skargnakh’s grunts at Barad-wath this fortnight.

– Gildring

Foolish elven blather…

You talk of Aradaugal and keeping him in chains. Please, keep him well, he is useless, hording shiny helmets and drilling his troops. He just never really got what we were all about! We have such little respect for him that we cant even spell his name properly anymore!

Tell your friends the horse lovers that thier king is doing as well as can be expected. We keep him tied to a stake, occasionally throwing elf skulls at him and mocking his value system. It’s quite fun to watch a dottering old fool his age weep and wail about the kids trampling his garden. We’ll give him back to you once his mind is completely gone~!

Shoglic

Deluded Urzahil, I think rather it is YOU who has come to get me: you and your band of magicians look quite pathetic in the flat lands of Mordor.

If Ji Indur will quit hiding in the east with Zaken, I would suggest you all make for Barad-dur for I plan to stake my banner there. After all, the Dark Tower is no more imposing than Mt. Gundabad and now that mountain fortress is secure and Free.

It will be a great joy for me to rout your weakling armies while the Flaming Eye looks on helplessly.

– scroll from Master Elrond

Ji and Zaken have a personal matter to attend to. You see, there are only certain nations in Mordor that allow that sort of union. Once the honeymoon is over, then they will be right back in, so to speak, and ready to do some more damage.

I’m sorry, I guess your invitation must have gotten lost in the mail. Although Theoden has been laboring long and hard over a postcard for you.

The DS may be very rich, as the market manipulations show, but they will be losing another MTown/City soon (Riavod last month), the second in a month, with SEVERAL more to follow before winter.

I no longer need Glosfana as a recruitment base as others will soon replace it. But find it if you can.

As for the rest of Mordor, from Morannon to the Blind Sorcerer stronghold, we will prove that none of your pop. centers is safe from our matchless emissaries and superior troops.

Spend your gold wisely: the Free also have a fair amount of gold, enough to impress one as greedy as Smaug.

– Gildring

Market Manipuwhatsa? What is that? It must be the neutrals. We’re too dumb to do that.
