Khand Amu is or was in Khand, and we have killed more than a few Easterling characters. Add a few thousand of your warriors too.
I wonder if the Wk is looking forward to next turn too.

There you go mistaking Rhuns for Khands again. There’s a big difference, you know? The ugly ones are Rhun.
<<I wonder if the Wk is looking forward to next turn too.>>
We all are. Does that bother you?

Poor Gelding, arithmetic wasnt your best subject at school, was it? My bet is you were the pale, lonely one who wrote flowery love sonnets to your bachelor tutors... Aren
t you feeling a long way from home, stalled outside the gates of mordor. All those lovely steel clad horsemen [so butch!] and powerful warmachines must make you feel quite secure, eh? But you didnt make it up the mountain. You
ve been stopped by three mordorian armies [apparently HC travels faster downhill]. You sure you aren`t worried? and where is your “master”? is he safe at home, picking out curtains for his newly expanded suites? Who has he given your room to?
Dendra the doubly-defiant and flu resistant
It’s a fun game, so of course we are all looking forward to the following turn. But since the 10 Free are beating the 12 DS, I think it is a little bit more fun for us.
I told you DS capitals would fall-- Minas Morgul will prove my point. And it not fall by silver tongues but in the most humiliating manner possible! Whether that means captured or destroyed you will have to wait and see.
Meanwhile, little lady Adunaphel looks pretty foolish at the village of Minas Durlith. Good luck. And we have a City/Fort right in the middle of Mordor-- thanks Khamul! Your dying without a fight was a gracious gift to us. Coward. And you too Ren! Coward.
I don’t think the Minas Tirith plan worked they way you had wanted it to. But it sure emptied Mordor of defenses nicely for SGondor to waltz in.
Lord Gildring, destroyer of The Black Gate and Dog Lord Armies.
Apparently the shortage of flu shots has also affected several of my characters at Minas Morgul. Tis a pity, but not unexpected, and they were expendable. Their deaths will be avenged tenfold.
I’m sure it must be a shock to find troops still defending Morgul after all your big guns were concentrated in one place, and your efforts to trap some of troops on the other side of the river. Tis a pity I have many more Orcs than your crappy intel indicated.
Am I looking forward to the next turn you ask? Absolutely. While you throw yourself against the walls in a most Saddam-like (or French) manner, I will extract my revenge against Minas Tirith. Now that my allies have softened it up, I will be finishing it off in short order. We’ll soon see who got trapped out of position.
Murazor
I would like to stress, Murazor, that TWO of your characters were killed by Free spirit mastery mages this turn. That accomplishment puts us ahead of the DS in that category, for now.
Since we wiped out the Fk army corps commanders, it looks like they couldn’t afford to have a seed army at Barad Wath. 'Tis a pity because we’ll be taking that this turn.
Regarding Minas Tirith: yes, it is now that time of the game were Pop.'s flip-flop regularly. But as I recall, we have killed more of your emissaries (three of 60+ rank) than you have killed of ours, which I believe is zero.
And the Dog Lord could be losing a Proclamator and a Curate this turn.
– Lord Gildring

Citizens: That was a wonderful speech by Lady Adunaphel. I’m all for Sauron.
Two weeks later.
Citizens: Did you see Erestor’s suit? Isn’t he charming? And Cirdan DID promise us tax cuts. Maybe I’ll be able to afford more gruel, and a Hummer! I say we side with the Elves.
– G man
There’s nothing I like more than a good Hummer…
Murazor
What’s gruel, chopped liver?
Gildring,
Looks like your friends abandoned you to our sharp tongues again! What gives? They’re Bored of the Board again already? Or just afraid?
-Ovatharuss
The Emperor of the Imperial Empire
Unlike most Americans (myself included!), Europeans demand and get a healthy dose of vacation time. Most of August, a few weeks in December and a few in January.
But how can I take time off, I’ve got a war to plan! If it wasn’t for the spendy toll roads into Mordor, I’d be on my way.
Oh, and I just saw the Sinda report. Galadriel needs her harp for a concerto performance at Caras Galadhon, so please return it, you naughty Nazog!
Dirty, filthy, little thieves (in my best Gollum imitation).
– Gildring
Aw, did Galy lose her Harp? I hear Elrond has a lot of “flute” players in his regiment “wink wink, nudge nudge, eh?”! So this will not be the day the music dies . . unfortunately.
Also, what is this “vacation” you speak of? Yeah, and the world says Americans are the lazy ones. I had planned to take today off to see RotK, but guess what . . .my vacation time for the year is spent!! I do have next week off, though. I hope to see RotK twice. My fiance’ doesn’t know this yet. She thinks I’ll see it once. Will someone please inform her for me? While I’m far away, of course!!
-Russ
Perhaps one of us could keep your fiance occupied whilst you are away…
BULRAKUR the Lascivious
ps; ROTK ROCKS!!! The Battle of the Pelennor Fields…just like g225! Except the DS will win!
I’ve got a big exam coming up (last one), covering the whole past semester, so I should be studying and not write silly messages. And since I don’t live near my relatives I’ll have to travel a lot over the christmas holiday.
The war has to be planned of course, but I’ll try to stay away from the board. We’ll see if I succeed.
It seems you didn’t feel like taking Minas Tirith after all. But you could have! You just didn’t feel like it, like I predicted… I think we feel like taking Minas Morgul this turn.
Anyway, you don’t play a bad game so far, which we appreciate. It feels better to win over good opposition. Keep up the good work!
/Pontus

-Ovatharuss
Er, um…does she likely fantasy movies?
nudge nudge, wink wink
Bulrakur the Less Confident
Good luck on your Exams, by the way, Pontus!
Bad luck on your turn, Gildring. No, that’s not a wish. It’s a prophecy. You’ll see it fulfilled in . . . how many weeks? This holiday thing has me ALL messed up.
I should get an “A” in Posting Silly Messages 101.
-Ovatharuss
Wait a second, the Sindar and Noldor have 3000 heavy cavalry one hex from Morannon, with warmachines and guards for our army commanders, and back-up commanders, and you are telling us we’ll have a bad turn? No matter what happens our mission will have been successful.
You have Free armies at or near your capital of St. Khand and we’re supposed to have a bad turn?
Pardon me, but the DS reliance on luck will run out sooner rather than later. The DS are many, many turns from mounting a counter-offensive. Our drives into Khand and NW Mordor have shown that we dictate the events of this war.
Your offensive in Gondor will be stopped by the combined forces of Rohan, the White Wizard, and the Dunadan Rangers.
Furthermore, I have poor reviews for Return of the King.
I should have been in the film.
Lord Gildring the narcisstic
“Pardon me, but the DS reliance on luck will run out sooner rather than later.”???
Luck?
Who said anything about luck, our thwarting of you at home that allows us to foray into Gondor, has nothing to do with luck. It is the combination of teamwork, co-ordination and planning ahead! Just wait and see what we mean. You cant see everything in Mordor--which of your nations have THAT map--just as we do not [yet] concern ourselves with mirkwood or the north. their time will come. meanwhile we can see gondor, harad and rhovanion. you seem to be missing those maps for the large part...why is that again? Good luck at the Black Gate, i
m glad you assassinated the wrong army commander at Morannon.
