Prediction, next turn the DS will lose four capitals.

Ok, now I know you’re crazy. What kind of elf drugs are you smoking anyways? The only sure place to fall is Minas Tirith, and you guys haven’t done a very good job at defending it.
- Ben
Dark Lts.
I suppose you guys could lose 2 or 3 capitals and still not feel worried. Even if you take Minas Tirith with emissaries, you can not hope to keep it. Look at Pelargir!
So blah, blah, blah. The next several turns will be crucial.
I know in the past 20 turns you haven’t killed any of the FP biggies: Elrond, Galadriel, Saruman, etc.
Stay focused on Gildring-- I like putting you guys on the defensive.
You guys haven’t managed to keep anything in Mordor either. Meanwhile we’ve knocked out two nations while you haven’t knocked out any.

Dark Lts.
Gildring,
You need to just shush! Post nothing else 'till turn day. Trust me, you’re digging yourself deeper and deeper into a hole of embarrasment!
Ovatharuss
Shushing, for now…
You may now Unshush. So how did it go?
-Ovatharuss
No, seriously, how did it go? (still waiting on allies
Galadriel, dead… Gildor, dead… Gildring, dead… Morannon, still standing… Minas Tirith now flies the banner of the Lidless Eye… Minas Morgul may no longer stand, but how far do you think Imrahil will get without support? And none is forthcoming anytime soon. The west bank of the Anduin is secure.
- Lord Urzahil, Mouth of Sauron
Ai! Angurth!
quoth the ghost of Gildring…
Your luck will run out sooner or later. That’s the second time we’ve run into that dragon. I might have to make a trip up to Sarn Goriwing to kill that bastard myself.
Gildor was guarded-- you were lucky to get through.
You are lucky to get your SM spells off before Galadriel and company did.
You are lucky that your troops stopped at us 3120 last turn. We had a 66% chance of making to Morannon before the Dog Lord’s troops could come down.
Luck, luck, luck… I’m losing track of how many that is, but the dice will start to break out way soon.
Be ready for another wave. “Soon” will come sooner than you think.
Oh, and Minas Tirith is not in Sauron’s hands yet.

Finding and using the resources available to the DS (such as Dragons) is not “luck”.
We’ll be ready for your “next wave”. But will you be for ours?

The luck of the Elves has run dry… And it was not luck that guided our victories, merely the Will of Sauron. Wretch of an elf, be swept back into the sea or face the might of the Lidless Eye.

I haven’t seen all the reports yet, but round 22 goes to the DS. I’ll concede that much, but I hope you’re aware that this will be a long, long war. All the better to win it in the end…
Master Elrond
<<but round 22 goes to the DS>>
That must be a grueling admission after your 3 weeks of bragging. “Months to plan, Mithril armor, war machines, never killed a big fp character, yada yada yada.” Don’t you wish I had told you to be quiet sooner?

With the fall of Gondor, the vile elves shall soon be swept into the sea.
- Lord Urzahil, Mouth of Sauron
PS - Nick, will you read your private messages already?
Yep, I must admit my disappointment. I was hoping to be at Durthang with enough warmachines to take the IK capital. Instead, my elves are food for Angurth. I suppose the Dragon Lord has a low-level character just hanging out at Sarn Goriwing waiting for Angurth to reappear. We won’t make the same mistake twice in that area.
Master Elrond
Ben, I’ve never read a private message on here before, but yes I have seen it.
“My nation, my nation for a dragon!”
Sorry to get Shakespearean on you, but Angurth has brought out the Dick in me…
Since nobody wants to fight me in Mordor, maybe I should go dragon slaying instead…
Glad to see G-man back in Bree. And so very nice of him to bring company as well! I’ll see if I can prepare of welcoming party for you!
I think we killed more chars than you this turn. Yes, two of the ones you killed were quite valuable to us, but **** does happen in war as we say here in Arnor. I’ll kill a couple more of your chars this turn.
Enjoy your stay in Minas Tirith while it lasts.

Well, send me an e-mail and I’ll send you my Gunboat turns so you can look at them.
