I find that dwarves are easier to roast than elves, however, they tend to be a bit stringy.

Cool, many are waxing poetic here. This is good. Smells like it ought to be a heck of a game - win, lose, or draw.
In the Neutrals department, I note the Rhun Easterlings, Dunlendings and White Wizard have checked in. Unless I’m missing something, no sign of Corsairs or Khand Easterlings yet. I hope that’s not a bad sign…
I only see a handful of the pre-aligned players on each side checking in as yet. Is that normal?
I dislike starting FP in Winter. But at least we’re not starting in the Autumn. You figure out how to get by on your meager production and then Winter kicks in and shows you the true meaning of Poverty. Right about then the DS start getting themselves organized. Small mistakes matter in all MEPBM games, but FP starting in Autumn and slipping into Winter makes them critical. Just a few otherwise minor errors and suddenly you find the DS everywhere you look. Ugh.
But no worries this time; Spring shall soon be upon us.
Regardless of victory or velocity of death, I hope everyone at least has a very enjoyable Game 27. That would be the point, yes?
