Nope – only 6 freeps – myself included ran there turns – so for all practical purposes thats 6 vs 12 of the evils, as the other nations are no longer listed on my front sheet, I have written the group site and stated I am dropping, know at least a couple others stated they would run there turns and if others didn’t then they to are going to drop – so unless the 3 or so freeps that are left want to let the evils have a bug hunt – so be it.
But I won’t be wasting any more hard earned money that that arse-hole in the WH is trying to take more of mine to give to those that don’t want to work. So the game is over if the other freeps don’t realize it or not.

It was actually quite the fun ride, we raced each other to the edge of the cliff. One of us dropped a golf ball, another tripped over it, and his scream made the third lose his grip on the rope…over we went, and that was it. The last few turns have been numbingly painful to watch the team pay for without playing.
Another thing to consider - the Dark Servants have curse team number 2 online this turn and will begin working on curse team number 3 next turn.
Game 30 is officially over - thanks for a fun game all!
Thanks in particular to Bryn and Mark our Rhudaur and Easterling allies who both played excellently!
The Prima Donna Bowl was an interesting experiment Brad.
Yes, Brad, thanks for coming up with the concept. It made for a much more interesting game than our last go together in an open game.
Many thanks and congratulations to my DS mates this go. It was a real pleasure and privilege to be on the same side as you folks. While I was mostly too busy to be as communicative as the rest of you, the coordination, tactics, and team play were really just what you’d want and expect to see from a veteran game. Really great!
Thanks also to the FP for a great game. Again, apologies, particularly to the Brads, for not joining up with the FP, but the temptation to see life as a DS Easty for a change was too great. Thanks also to Har/Cor for keeping things interesting in the South. And, drat it all, I was just getting warmed up down there, too!
Cheers,
Mark (Easterlings)
Yep. Thanks BB for setting this up. Thanks to the FP team for making it fun. Thanks to all of the DS players for making communication and cooperation a priority.
WK, RH, IK and QA thank you for staying in the game rather than giving up your nations when they were on the ropes.
Easty and RH thanks for going DS. I would have thought the neutral split was going to make this a FP victory for certain, but instead it turned into a real challenge with lots of fun.
See you all down the road.
I’m glad that whomever remained on the victorious side enjoyed the game… Anyone else notice the obvious here…? It doth seem that the lack of newbies and the randomization of starting position had less to do with the game than many presumed…:
Win and be happy. Lose and it sucks.
Experiment over. Thanks all for participating. Now, join the 1 week game already and get down to some real game-play…!!
Brad B
Congratulations to the DS on a hard fought win, and also to the Freep. The DS skated very close to disaster in the mid game, with several nations on the edge economically. I believe we were within a week of multiple eliminations. I don’t think I’ve seen a team come closer to the precipice without falling over, then claw their way back in. There just didn’t seem to be that last push from the freep. Great effort, congratulations all!
PS Brad try to make a smile (that’s the thing when the edges of your mouth turn up Think of people falling over and hurting themselves if it helps
Cheers
Rob
It does make me feel warm and fuzzy inside, especially when I get to pick the people…but I won’t smile, not in front of YOU people… :fork::stab::slap::bash:
Thanks all for a good game. Apologies to the DS for my lack of comms in the latter game. I really enjoyed taking the game to the FP early on and was pleased to still hold Tharbad at game end
Cheers!
