Dunland Declares - Enion Shocked !
Well in case you hadn’t spotted it in your turn I have decided to turn Free.
Why ?
Im keep asking myself that especially when I joined with the full intention of declaring dark and using dragons (and the odd Mordorian agent) to make an interesting battle in the NW.
Looking back over the first few turns it comes down to -
Excellent communication from the FP (which continues now,always nice to know it continues after you declare)
Incredibly poor communication on the first turn by the DS
This would not have mattered overly had the level of openness been there. The FP even shared the odd turn with me before I had declared, the DS wouldn’t even tell me the name of an agent working in the NW ? Not top secret I would have imagined. Treat your neutrals as enemies and they will become such…
Worse than that,last turn I was accused of being a “ringer” by one of the only two DS who had maintained “regular” contact with me… leaving me in the sound knowledge that the only DS with whom I had a good level of trust was the WK…hmmmm with the WK looking like he is setting up residence in cardboard city this did not make me feel overly confident…
All in all I hope for a swift defeat of the DS so that when I play a neutral again I can choose a side rather than be pushed and pulled to the one decision.
I wish my enemies all the luck they can garnor and I hope for an interesting game.

Well a more mixed turn then the DS have led us to expect. You guys won a battle at the Fire King Capital. Well done! You lost the Witch King and Ice King capitals so you didnt have it all your own way but then, for once, nor did we.
Bruce, the Wessex Slayer, is an interesting character. I have no reason to question his competence as a player, however as a diplomat, he has single handedly lost you guys 2/3 nations. Though he was in theory on your side, he has probably done more for the cause of the free than any of our own nations! Bruce, this note isn’t designed to stir your wrath. Please re-think your approach to people. When I start a new game, my main fear is that you are on my side. My main hope is that you are on the opposition. Prove me wrong, use some of your brains to woo and flatter rather than abuse and condemn.

Rhudaur made its mind up within 2 turns while the Duns were on a loser if they chose DS. I have been the WK and lasted well over 12 turns by upgrading MT facing woodmen and my capital to a city. Unfortunately having to drop due to family commitments
All I will say to the DUNS that dont bother going to the ruined towers, I have already obtained what rightly belongs to Sauron
As for Corsairs, I think they are a bit rich talking about diplomacy
if they want to be beligerent thats their choice. They never bothered answering my diplos even when I was initially trying to be diplomatic. Fine march up the road, suits me to a tee. I am ready for you. Take Vamag if u like. I have other backups. The Corsairs I can take on. Their strength is their ships not their armies, and their fleets are pretty useless against the QA.
, and if they are already have big armies now, they had already planned to go free from turn 1.
I have cautioned all DS NOT to send any information what so ever to any remaining neutral. The free now have nothing to lose by sending their dispositions we do. It would be tactically stupid to send out such information
I am happy to act as part of a team with any neutrals who declare DS. But not until. I have no intention of passing Battle plans, names or agents (thats for the DUNS), camp creation or location of artefacts.
But Duns dont think this will be quick, because it wont.
My suicide squad is prepared to launch itself at any of your settlements. I have nothing to lose by losing this army or my fleet for that matter.

Dont flatter yourself vandal - your squashed WK quickly with the help of Rhudaur. It would have taken many more turns.
With Rhudaur turning, Duns were always going free, it would be tactically stupid not to.
as for the corsairs, I was diplomatic with my early notes, which they blatantly refused to answer whatsoever. So the conspiracy is becoming fact not fiction. What did they want emissaries from DS not close to them doh doh. The one nation that was close to them that was Ds they ignored. Now they will ignore to their peril
You or your allies have not hurt QA or doglord. I await with amusement what you will try . You should know the QA have the eyes of a hawk and spot the enemy from many leagues away.

- FP were not
- DS were secretive and, apart from WK, unsharing of info
- FP were not

I think whatever antipsychotic being taken is either not stopping the paranoia or is causing it… Whilst being paranoid means you may be right some of the time (especially in PBMs) in this case you are woefully wrong
Bruce of course it would have taken longer to kill the WK without the Rhudaur, who in their right mind would say not.
Sad fact is he blew it big time whatever course we choose, want to deny we caught him cold or do I have to publish the details of a poor WK.
It gives me no pleasure to rub it in but it was and is poor play and the Rhu only hastened the end not changed the course.
The Duns have made their statement on why they joined us and it does not concur with your thoughts.

As regards the Corsairs lets make it clear he did not respond to any of our mails for quite some time either.
It turns out he was off on a course and not engagaing in much diplomatic activity.
Now we took the calm long view and waited and tried to be nice.
Look at the results of taking your view and now he comes home and catched up and sees you calling him a liar what does that do for your side?
That means we can count on at the moment 3 nuetrals and I would say to you thats all we need given the damage we have inflicted upon you so far.
This bickereing is helping nobody, leas of all your side.
Therefore I will stop posting in this game as long as you are still playing in it as long as you do the same in the hope the rest of the players can enjoy the game.

I tried to be polite with the corsairs, but to blazes and frankly I dont give a flying monkeys if the others turn free either.
The corsairs whinged about not being contacted. I say rubbish to that. He just chose not to answer and then expects me to hand out my battle plans as what I did. He cannot deny that i have been in contact. The corsairs could easily have said that they were busy etc. Takes just one email not difficult!

If he chooses to say there was no coordination then thats rubbish as well. FYI he only needs to coordinate with one DS and thats the QA. I guessed he would turn free may turns again since he couldnt be bothered to say hello let alone email one single sentence. No matter how many emails I sent.
I frankly dont care if you think I am irate, that christ I am in 2 gB and dont have to take this B***S***.
As for the remaining neutrals I am quite happy if they go free, suits me .
If harad or easterling expect me to send they information about my position then they are sadly mistaken. IMHO I have given too much away to the DUNS, and I have no intention of doing that again.
I have learnt from past experience neutrals will do what they want and make up any excuse while they turn to a particular side.

Good on you, WK gone, IK capital gone and we have lots of nuetrals, which if you carry on will be even more.
However before you lose this game for your team please stop insulting nuetrals you need some of them.

In all our conversations I have never expected anything…
In fact in our last emails, when you mentioned not giving out battle plans and army movement info, I actually agreed with you.
These insults are going on Far to long. I told you that as an undeclares neutral I would keep out of the war with you and the Corsairs.
I apologise to your team members now as they have all treated me with respect and I them, in fact it was your team members that stopped me attacking you from your previous outburts.

As a DS fan - I find that side much more fun - it is a real shame that the only “voice” on here is the QA’s…

QA if you play for 20 turns - you will have allowed your own temperament to keep you in a game where you are mad at most of the players - I admire your doggedness - I hope with all the other activities you have on that this will not be one too much, I suggest Beta Blockers to ensure your rage is not detrimental to your own health, it is after all is said and done only and i mean ONLY a game!
As to the other DS I undestood this forum was for friendly ripostes and not the unrelenting insults we have seen to date from your teammate. I welcome any other communication in the spirit of the game
If you put as much energy into OU as you do this I am sure you will complete three year courses in a month and have finished their entire repertoir of programmes in the year !
On a personal note - please destroy the QA swiftly so his army can’t destroy all my old towns…
