how bout’ makin a mistake or few over here for a change. troops are gettin restless and need a morale boost.
wk
We like to conserve our mistakes and give them to Terry. It’s so much more fun when he’s feeling on top and crowing about how he’s going to crush us for them.
Cheers,
Mark
Well gentlemen, I MUST say, I’m breathing a pretty big sigh of relief here, yes? I don’t know who Meriot and Dendra killed, I have no idea where my survivors are or what’s happened anywhere else, but - I’m satisfied…if nothing else…
Ovatha
OK! Who keeps inviting Sauron to party at my house!!!
This is twice now and you know this guy doesn’t bathe and is soooo depressing!
Feeling un-neighborly,

I’ve not seen the CL turn yet but that must of been a very close run battle, well done but i’m afraid thats it for your main strikeforce.
Ian
You’ve had “main strikeforces” accomplish more than “Plan for an MT/Fort but take a surprise City/Keep instead”…? Good for you, and excellent for my maintenance costs too, thank you very much…
Well you got Bondan last turn…
However this turn we wait with trepidation… looking upon the last remaining vestibule in the NW.
I hope you have food for my cav? I think they’re needed over there -->
One to keep and cherish, that.
hey, you guys came out swinging and I’m gonna make it to T11 in WK proper as you call it. So, I’m pleased as much can be when severely out numbered, but I had to retire a boatload of good troops to stay afloat.
Yes, I got Bondan and thanks for taking that risk. You refused a turn earlier, but I expected him to be carrying all the toys and was I was up for a 50/50. I was hoping for a few more risks, but I’ll take an extra turn survival as a victory for a challenge.
this game will not be a cakewalk for either side.
WK
We feel good about events as well. We had good intel and planned for what happened. We’re also thankful Ovatha was not carrying.
So it’s a 3 - 2 split and everyone has reason to feel pretty good.
for the moment. :bash:
Ashdurbuk
A 3:2 split and we have the novices, hmm? Not quite even.
It’s gonna be an uphill strungle…
Even? What’s even? The game? Well, that discussion really hinges on the “need to know” thing, doesn’t it…? I’m confident that the assumption made by many of us is the correct one, and every turn yet still being played bears that out…
I don’t suppose any of you DS will share the CL capital loyalty before it fell?
Forget the DS, Easterlings say it was 96.
No problem. 89.
We were hoping for 100 and when we didn’t reach it, we wished for an attack.
had we got it to 100, we win there.
But like you guys, we’re experiencing some coordinating issues to maximize all of our efforts. All things considered, we took what we felt was the best action at the time and are satisfied. CL still was able to make a MT after losing a capital, so he is not hurting. We just have to finish the plan.
WK
I just saw the events at Dol G and you’re right, it’s gonna be an uphill struggle when things like that happen. Looks like the only bright spot for the Free was taking the CL cap and that really didn’t hurt us.
WK
Novices, defections, communication issues, SS’d turns…take your pick. All of 'em are making this a harder game than it really ought to be. (DG in particular. That nut should have been cracked long ago, and now several times over.) But, we’ve caught some good breaks along with the bad ones, so, se la guerre.
Yes, I suspect I’ve done this twice in a row now…same result, no real pain, I’m guessing…
good read. CL is fine and will be around a while. things r looking up for us. Cannot say the same about the Gondors tho…
WK
Dark Servants. You’ve done well. Your friends were a great boon, both economically, militarily, and psychologically. Congratulations. Dragon for his offense (offensive nature…? ;)) and Witch for keeping up the attitude even while getting hammered early. Thanks to the Cloud Lord and friends for letting me do even more than I expected…
I do not speak for the Free Peoples, but I speak for myself: Good bye.
