Game 88 - 1650

Well turn 7 is back and apart from waiting for 1 nation I must say it was more of an even turn than I would of thought…perhaps the DS slightly edged it

Khamul must really be peeved, first of all he loses his shiney new ring then we beat him to the punch at yet another arty. If I was the DS I would flay my mages alive cause of their very poor arty locating

Now Dave that was not the right thing to do, smash my army then assassinate its former commander…ok he had 2 of your guys captive but we would of released them after we had ‘civilised’ them :stuck_out_tongue:

More taunting later

Its been a tough start to the game and I’m not a big fan of the outrageous advantages (dragons and agents) that will swing the game in favour of the DS.

Now that the siege of DolG is lifted by foul means and c7k FP troops have fallen along with Bain and Amroth I plan to fight fair until such time as I have to take advantage of the game mechanics again!

It was a close run thing though…

Yep it was a close run thing…Poor Amroth, may he rest in peace.

We knew the only thing to save Dol G would be a dragon and we were hopeing that your little army didn’t have one. At least the DrL capital is seiged this turn.

The build up starts again of Free forces to take Dol G. You may be surprised but we will be back sooner than you would of thought with an even bigger force.

All in all this is turning out to be a good game. We have more or less now got the NW secure, only 1 WQ city left and that will soon fall. The arty locating & retrieving is going apace in which we are streets ahead. The old DoL capital vanishing like that has to be a trick of the light  LR camps burning has got to hurt, soon inner Mordor will follow suit.

Looking forward to the next turn,

A fascinating strategy from the pacifists of Gondor. All those assembled armies and navies and nobody fights! Though I can understand why Ukhurg’s imposing horde might scare you into submission.

The kindly citizens of Lag Vrastoftak have released Anni-Frid from custody. We took pity on her. She was clearly starving and sent her on her way with enough for her immediate needs. What? She didn’t hand it over to the treasury? Well, that’s thieves for you!

We would like to thank the citizens of South Gondor for their kind invitation to dinner in the ruins of the tower at Glanhir. We are much looking forward to the party. Would it be alright if we bring a balrog?

Please bring a Balrog!!! Can we bring a dragon or 2 to the party???

Also the Easterlings have shown their true colours. The NM’s capital may fall but so will every Easterling northern town.

Latest news…there are only 8 Nazgul left!!!
