One day after proccessing, and the FP team has nine out of ten PDF’s and XML’s shared. The tenth had informed us there would be a delay. It is expected by tomorrow. We are already working on combined strategies, and are keeping contact with all neutrals as promised.
Do the DS have the fortune to work so well together?
Too busy counting your coppers are ya? How much timber can you buy…and when does that 20% kick in anyway? Ah, it’s tough to be the unloved merchant…I bet you have LOTS to say under your breadth when the high and mighty Elves niggle and groan over a few pennies for their wine, no? Out with it…! What was that? EH? Speak up! Oh, “the Easterlings are pansies” and you “hope they go DS” so you can thump them? “Harad’s a moron! SG’s got the love on already!” and my personal favourite “NG talks too much, I was going to wreck him in 64 but I’ll have to do it with emissaries in this game…”.
Hey, never trust your innermost feelings to an undeclared neutral…next week, I’ll publish private emails from the Cloud Lord and Urzahil himself. You’ll love how much these guys are getting along…
Arf, you must have taken words out of context. I recal once Angamaite showed up at the palace doors in Kas Shadoul, with a bouque of hand picked flowers, and wearing pink doctor dentons (the one with the flap). I was trying to talk strategy, and he kept saying; shut up and just do it, as he posed suggestively. Hense the talking to much. As for wrecking me? I am married, both to my kingdom and harem. When he left in a huff, Angamaite said: Well if I cant have you and your kingship, nobody will. Then crashed his ox cart into the royal carriage. Thankfully he got over this and brought back to pseudo sanity. It was mis-placed aggression, and boredom elevated to lonelyness. Once the Princes of South Gondor came to the neighborhood, he was all a flutter!
Ricard tells me that he’ll send his ferret after me if I reveal his journal. I have many phobia’s, those damn things are amongst them. Ah well, too bad for the voyeurs…had some good stuff with Kadida and Rozilan, but at least I avoid any trouble with the ratings folks and family values crowd…
Otherwise, it’s a quiet world. Everyone went from the big round ball to the little round ball?
Got a rumour on my sheet - mages in a starting army can be tricky, what happened RV?
Yeah Yeah Yeah… Big whoopin hoorah for Khathog. The Vin man took a gamble to be able to do something other than 215, and lost. Such is life. Odds were even btw. The only certain threat would have been from Whore-mouth, and we knew he was… indesposed wink.
However…
North Gondor still owns Osgiliath, Tir Nindor, Tir Ethraid, and most importantly drum-roll Minas Ithil.
NG will continue to hold these pops for at least another turn, and quite possibly longer. Word on the street says it don’t look good for the DS advancing around Mordor any time soon. In fact, there are bets that they’ll be losing some real estate instead.
Sometimes neutrals go for who bribes them the most. Other times they go to who talks to them the most. Maybe another time, they go to who amuses them the most. There are always occasions where they got a particular nation and wanted to do something specific, or even different than “last time”, or just something special.
I’ve gone to the better team to euthanize the opposition. I’ve gone to the worse team to prolong a game. I’ve gone to the most fun group, who happened to be mostly newbies. I’ve gone with friends and against friends. I’ve played a game specifically to go different with the same nation as I went last time. I started a game once to do encounter and artifact research, then only joined a team to prevent them from killing me so I could continue my “important work”. I’ve done lots of things for lots of reasons, they’re almost always my own.
My record as a neutral is 5-2 as a FP (7 games) and 4-2 as a Dark Servant (6 games). And as the Corsairs, it’s 1 FP and 1 DS, both wins.
I don’t want a hug, but if Mike has a c/e strong enough to issue the Build Canal order and come get me, it would be worth it just to see what kind of vengence he can mete out to me down here… !
Down the toilet? It went very well for Gondor. Very well indeed…
Oh! Are you talking about a WK army moving on top of the neutral Rhudaur?
I’ve only heard speculation so far. One camp has WK initiating un-provoked hostilities. The other camp believes they are working together, and Rhudaur is allying itself with DS… Speculation is a bitch, isn’t it?
Last I heard, certain North Kingdom warlords were considering a southerly move along the shoreline. Is this your plan, to “initiate unprovoked hostilities” on another neutral, you know, tit for tat? Just make sure you take a Left when the land falls away…
Well usually I dont thank the DS for anything but Id love to know why the WK did what he did? I mean it must be a classic move pushing a neutral to the otherside…and here I was worried…
