Of course i the reciever of blame for all my Games in Loses… Also insignificant or less than impressive in wins… It comes with the territory when your always Leading The Banter in games… But at least you never have Banter needed posts in my games!

:p:rolleyes: There are no “winners” yet, unless you, having bankrupted yourself for the 4th consequetive game, claim to speak for the rest of the 94 DS who are actually still IN the game. But as I consistently opine, we’re all losers now that your chest-beating is gone from this game…sniff…
This was our aim the past 5 turns or so. Your pop centers got hammered.
I would love to see your turn reports at the end of the game.
The single biggest mistake (that I can see) that you made was not attacking and destroying my main army that went on to take several pop centers from you and destroyed several other DS armies. I believe that army now has morale of 90+ and the training on the HC is 100.
I noticed a large, rotund woman hanging around this game.
She hasn’t done anything yet but it sure likes like she is warming up to do something…Perhaps Sing??
Geez, a nice, desperate scramble to stave off the inevitable. But it’s not nearly enough, sorry.

it might be hard for some to see, but let’s ponder the next couple of turns:
1)Several MT’s ripe for the taking in the middle of Mordor
2)No defense whatsoever militarily
3)Puppyboy, who’s that knockin at your door?
4)IceIceBaby, who’s that knockin at YOUR door?
5)FireQueen, did you overextend?
Who’s left to defend Mordor? All of your other really good characters are out-an-about trying to do bad things.
with agents and emmys about even now we’ll trade major pops and major artys, but there is ZERO chance you DS’s can keep pace with the multi-front attacks of superior troops from many nations.
I respect your resolve, but can you all not see Mordor is falling. Oh, my bad…
Stumpers throwin down on the Pup AGAIN!
Let me think on this. Mordor overall is in horrible shape but my position has actually done extremely well with multiple holdings and it is likely I will gather even more as I’m picking up my brethrens emissaries.
I know that my captial will probably fall, but I have plenty of extra pops so that is of no concern and I’ve picking up far more pops than I have lost as an individual. 
And Gildor is dead…so that just made me a tad bit of happy too.
Overall, I could lose all my currently holding in Mordor which isn’t likely and still hold on indefinately.
But I will conceed the overall WAR is pretty much over and the FP did a pretty good job overall.
I believe I did well overall and frankly had a good time in this WAR

Yes, you definitely made an impact. As someone who very much enjoys the Fire King nation, I salute you!
Player drops notwithstanding, the difference between a winning side and a losing side comes down to teamwork, sacrifice and choice. This game is not over yet, but from reading your obituary, I see alot of “I” and “me” in your comments. The DS have done some cool things, but we’re starting to see some chinks in the armor. For instance, you may gain 2 or 3 minor pops, but if you lose your cap and suffer loyalty hits across the board then I don’t see your point of acquiring wealth when you won’t have any MT’s left. If doing well for you is acquiring these minor pops, then keep doing what your doing. We’re playing to eliminate nations.
It is clear that some DS nations have done quite well while others have not. However, it isn’t individual nations that decide the war - it is how one side is doing overall. And it is also clear that the FP are in far better shape than the DS team.
It has been a very fun game. I also like the fact that I am still learning game mechanics (thanks Brad and others).
Looking forward to discussing specifics at a later date but I will say the DS obsession with the south set up our victory. The FP have an overwhelming number of troops crushing Mordor - thanks in large part - because of the disproportional amount of resources the DS team have poured into the south. The Corsairs and I would never have been a significant threat to Mordor. The real threat is even now sitting on your capitals poised to destroy them - and there is nothing you can do to stop that. The time to stop that threat was before it reached your Mordor capitals.
The FP curse squad will also be killing, before now, untouchable agents. The Eothraim thanks Erennis for the safe return of his 3 commanders.
Not to mention the FP team thanks the DS team for the loan (is it a loan?) of the RoW. No worries - we’ll get some good use out of it I’m sure.

We actually had a really good “team captain” toward the middle and end game but your right in the beginning there was a problem of complete teamwork.
But if you are driving that the core remaining group were not team players then you are sadly mistaken.
And that was probably the problem with the overall play…in the beginning a few followed the leadership currently in place. Several others played their own games.
Budgeting seems to be an ongoing problem and failure to commit troops.
So when I say I did well…I mean I know how to budget, what characters not to make, actually made other pop centers and knew when to think…hey Mike has a really good plan…lets all follow that one plan.
Plus I killed Gildor which just made me happy…

The “team” is dropping however never actually challenge someone on how long they can stay in a game…you would be sadly suprised and would probably end up dropping instead. Unfortunately, with the right set of characters you can wage an almost endless war.
It would be better if the game only let your capital move X number of times and you die…but alas that isn’t the case.
Not sure if that was a design fall or a way to create games going…but most people are reasonable.

Good game then, it was fun and I did enjoy it. Poor Gildor had to die, it seemed more important to make sure the walls came down than to fight back. He had a gaurd, but apparently the gaurd was a chump. Nasty orc with a knife–give back the toys!
Agreed, this game could go on for quite some time. We’ve both got significant character assets. Also agreed that that I dont necessarily want to find out how long, the boredom attack is very effective but its, well, boring!
In any case, it was a pretty satisfying game. Should we tell Clint to reshuffle the deck an deal out the nations again? I’ve always liked the one weekers.
