Besides, Mike has it pretty clear, last 2 1weekers, Terry’s been on the other team but played like a proxy-Ally, clearing a swath of gold and morale for my group to prance through with nary a 215 required until ultimate turn 4 Victory (well earned, hard fought, commiserations to the opposition here…). I guess he’s got sugar-daddy in this one, I suspect the DS are more relieved than any FP or neighbourly neutral are a’feared…

This to me is working out like every other one week game , Don’t think I will be in next one for sure – So the Duns are evil-- changed his Icon on Turn 3 already , Rhudaur is going evil , this leaves 3 other neutrals left – let me guess , all going evil or one or more want to sit on sideline the whole game – can you guys let me know now so I can drop and save my money now !!
Well the Freep seemed to make sure that Rhu is going Evil by jumping his pop at 2009. Good diplomacy guys. Mind you it has certainly helped me get an on the fence Neutral to change to a solid for the DS cause ally. Good work guys. To the remaining neutrals… hey make sure you are at least in regular correspondance with the Freeps or they will assume you are going DS and jump you as happened to poor old Rhu. The thing that makes me laugh is that Darrell had just finished lamenting that Arthy and Cardy had been less than forthcomming with their correspondance and that he was “thinking” of going DS because of that… only thinking mind you… Hey Freeps don’t you think that if he was definately going DS he may have run a screen into 1909 to prevent what has happened this turn? ie you invading his homeland …unprovoked. Great work guys!

I put a fair bit of work into getting the Dun’s to flip, it’s not ike he was saying “hey I want to go DS” from turn 1. It involved negotiation and some wheeling and dealing, a lot of communication. As for Rhudaur, you guys did 50% of the work on Rhu for me! :p. Looks like the Free team is guilty of what the DS team had last time I played with them… not enough effort on the diplomacy front. A turn 3 Declaration for the DS in the NW is about when they should be flipping… any later and the WK has been hammered too much and is no longer as great an ally.
