Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all.
Now It’s My turn to say I owe you or whoever!
I have my own shiney new toy! :bash:
Dont worry, we’ll take it too soon enough
Terry! Drop it! Throw it away! They’re coming, they’re COMING!!!
Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Jee
Eeeeeek! Drops on a Dragon!
Don’t have any idea why a dragon needs that toy:confused:
No comments for this turn?
Sorry, too busy shifting bodies out of Morannon. The Eothraim did at least supply the body bags as promised.
More on the way…
- Master of the Plains
p.s. Scorba - saving your life on demand. Talk about a product tag line!
Well, previously I had blocked but with him in tow I let you onto Morannon.
Must admit, I didn’t quite predict your moves this turn.
Now that Gondor has lost most of their starting armies, it must be quite a suprise to see they are about to suffer the same fate as the WK.
Duran sits upon Khamuls throne admiring the new furnishing’s of the throne room. Suddenly the door bursts open… It’s Urgubal "my lord a black rider approach’s from the South! " You Fool, Open the gate’s and it’s a Nazgul come to inspect our troops! Duran thinks quitely now if Celedhring died in that battle at Tir Limlight I will become the next Nazgul and this throne will be mine… He Grin’s quitely as he leaves the Throne Room to greet the black rider…
Celedhring still hot from the rage of battle where he charged and sliced his was through the Gondor Calvary. mutters to himself that fool Duran better have an army waiting for me when I return to Dol Gudur! As he breaks through the Forest into the Clearing around Dol Gudur … Celedhring see Dol Gudur and he howl’s in rage it has grown that fool Duran gave it to the to those fairies or those fairy loving woodmen…
As he rides closer a grin breaks his stern face as the bodies of woodmen and elves roting in the sun… Ahh So duran is not the Fool I believed… I must be On my Toes maybe I should send him out Soon as Khamul did to me… Then again maybe not!
Oh my look at all the new food for my pets! Poor pets! sorry they are so small but look how many they sent surely that is enough to satisfy even even you large appetite… My troops will just heap the bodies in large piles to make your feeding easier!
Yes, I’m confused by where some of the sizeable armies have gone recently. Is there (somehow) a cash crisis and they feel the need to burn troops?
Certainly will be an interesting game to chat about afterwards.
Please, boys. Such silly conjecture. Cash crisis. Since the banter around here is flying, I can too hint that the dragons have saved the Dark. If not for them, the Free would have built a few ski resorts in NW Mordor by now. Enjoy the lodge while it’s still yours. Winter’s young.
And don’t worry about our armies. We’ll make more. Counting them will only make you dizzy.
Good game.
Hmmm okay whatever; “Dragons saved the DS” . . . they are a part of the game you know. The worrying alternative of course is that you genuinely have amassed that many troops that the losses really don’t matter to you which is uncomfortable thinking so I prefer to taunt you about bodybag comments.
Seriously though, I would love to chat about the last few turns with you guys afterwards just to see where you’re coming from. You must have known we were recruiting the dragons and pretty much been able to guess where we’d guide them (it’s not rocket sceince) and yet you still send multiple sizeable armies after them . . .
Of course if another 10,000 troops land on certain targets each next turn I won’t feel quite so anxious to discuss it but right now I’m genuinely in “raised eyebrow” mode . . .
Anyone got anything to say about this one?
Certainly moving on apace and we’ve found that our agents aren’t at their most successful right now. Good gains in Rhun for us over recent turns with the Easterlings coming to the fore.
Kudos to the Rhudaur for seemingly being everywhere but we’ve beaten off a lot of attacks on Fortress Mordor.
Noldo must be rich marching that army all that way, taking out a village and then turning back again!
Is this going to be a long game?
I’d be happy to compare notes when the game is done mate.
Rhudaur
Okay cheers, I’ll take you up on that!
My agents might be more successful if our army commanders weren’t so greedy in taking the enemy army commanders hostage after battle! Quite rude, I must say.
