Me1650 G94

Yes, it’s been a slow game and it’s hard to get excited about the game when not much is happening. Personally, it’s been a little boring up north, what with both Murazor and Jill Indur ignoring me but maybe this turn will be a little different and your team might actually try and do something in the north for a change instead of rolling over and dying

Actually, there doesn’t seem to be a lot going on in the game this turn, pretty sad when the highlight this turn could be to see what Gargal does to keep his ugly head?? Last turn was much more interesting, at least you invaded the Harad!!! Now you have run away and attacked SG instead, strange very strange…

Ps. Gixxer, I did work out some quick numbers for angmar troop losses. It’s pretty sad though what with the WK trying out that new strategy of not recruiting. All told, only about 13k gone in arth/cardy/wk battles. I didn’t count 2004 so I guess the WK did lose a few there. Not have I counted Gundy but who cares, I don’t have the time to do the others. Maybe one day the software will be able to count this for us, I for one would find it very interesting!

Stags,
do you ever played the WK ?

My first ME-game, more than ten years ago, it was Arthedain.

I was able to kick the WK out without major help.

So much to your “brilliant” game play.

Good gaming,

Gixxxer

Gixxxer,

Fair enough but I have played them before.

Now, I’m not even trying to claim what we did in this game was brilliant. It was actually pretty simple and it really shouldn’t have worked. Cardy went for his villages, I just sent everything against his capital city. The dwarves did the usual 2004 hire but nothing else. We were very surprised when the WK decided to capture not threat 2004, that cost big time as he did not send out anything to screen the incoming freep. We were impressed when the 3 cities went up but it does costs money, almost happy to see it happen. Even happier when the WK doesn’t recruit from them. The WK blocked me once on the way in to 1804 and that was it. He even had an opportunity to send his reserves home to help but didn’t. It looked bad, its turned out worse, one can’t blame Rhu for not wanting to join a sinking ship especially when well over 10k of freep troops get to run around unmolested in Angmar? This is a grudge game afterall.

Anyway, let’s see what happens this turn. I don’t doubt you guys can still pull a few surprises up north yet…

Stags,
there are some answers on you questions, but lets answer them when the game is over.
I don’t want to tell you details at this early phase of the game.
Is this okay for You !

Have Fun !

Gixxxer

Hello Darkness my old friend,
is this the sound of silence ?

Or are the Freps surprised that we’re able to fight out of Mordor ?

Great work Freps, you we’re able to disparage our game-play.

Looks like the Neutrals are believing the lies you’re telling !

This is one way to win the game.

Not the way I would use !

I’ve heard some stories and received a mail from your SG-player, proving this.

Looks like this is the only way you’re able to win !

We should try this again, without Neutrals !

No Gixxxer, I have no wish to either play with or against your team. You blame the neutrals, but your problems lead back to two critical game errors in the first couple of turns, that were picked up by our players and at least one of the neutrals. Those problems have been exploited to the end where both your WK and your Drag have effectively been kicked out of position, and all the freep are ready to take you on at home. You have not used your time so well, getting embroiled in a bloodless tiff with the two Gondors. Too many assets, too slow.

For the record, to date the neutrals have affected our game far more than yours, in fact we have had to remove 3 nations from the attack because of this. Why do you think it has been so easy around Mordor?

I’ll leave the ending of this game to you and yours. I’ll leave you think about this though, the very factors of our play that you have slung the most rubbish at - were in fact our most important strategies, and caused you your position. A game without neutrals? You have already lost it.

But don’t take my word for it, Brian Hansen the Harad player leads a very effective team of US players who will go hard on your team, John Staggoll leads a similar and slightly more effective Aus team? I suspect Jonathon Shushan might as well? Play any and all of them and find out.

You’ve made any freep victory ashes, I don’t want to come back here and repeat the effort.

Thanks for the game anyway

Winsten Wun Toof.

Hi Winsten,
this is a posting I can deal with. not the usual blah, blah.

First, we’re not a grudge-team !

We’re the same players have played ME 70.

You wanted to have a revanche and now we’re playing it.

Maybe some of our players are doing more mistakes than the last game !

Maybe !

I guess we’re able to learn from our mistakes.

You haven’t won this game up to now and we’ll fight hard 'till it’s bloody end.

Good gaming !

Gixxxer

Heya folks -

Remember that this is a game - try not to beat each other up verbally too much. When “liar” comments get made in public forums, people take offense unless those comments were made in jest (in which case more effort might need to be made to assure the recipient of such talk that it IS in jest). Noone plays the game to be called a liar - remember that the comments made in these forums are public - and the names of those individuals can be tainted for other and future games - so they might take that personally.

If the comments ARE intended to be personal, then be sure to back them up. That liar may BE a liar and that knowledge would be a good thing to share with others before they are duped in some future game with this person. But in the case of SG, I don’t believe this to be so.

It’s easy and fun to trash-talk Camlin, Elrond, or Hoarmurath - but don’t beat up the players themselves. We’re all here for the same reason - to play a game.

I would have been more verbal earlier on this forum, but I made a promise to myself to pay more attention to my turns and less attention to trash-talking on the forums. So please forgive the “Silence of the Freep” in this case - I assure you my nations actions will speak loudly enough for themselves.

Dranob

Hi Dranob and all the others,
Gixxxer is pure provocation, not more.

This time he shot a little bit over the target !

My excuses at this point !

Wasn’t my intention to do this !

Have some mercy with this cheeky maniac !

Won’t do it again !

Have Fun !

:frowning: Aaagh:(

We almost went to the second page again!

As always,

Ren the Unbeatable

to the RESCUE:D

Ren the Magnificent, Unbeatable, Totally Unstoppable Nazgul whips up on another NG army. Wasn’t even close. Come on freeps, where’s your might? Running for the Grey Havens, that’s where!!!

On a sad note, we would like to say goodbye, for now, to the valiant sailors in Her Majesty Adunaphel’s Royal Yacht club. The poor 100 sailors met their deaths at the hands of of the over aggressive SG and NG fleets while on a peaceful mission to survey the bottom land near the mouth of the river. They were surveying to map out the bottom for the planned Royal Adunaphel submarine force being planned right now. They will be missed and avenged. This submarine fleet will carry the latest OTM’s (Oliphant Turd Missiles) that will totally destroy a large army or a small city (have you ever smelled Oliphant turds? Gastly, I say!!)

Histories of Middle Earth Book XCIV Vol III

Maximillian junior waved excitedly at the flotsam from the naval engagement with Gargal’s fleet. A hairy looking sphere the size of a melon nudged against his father’s flagship – the “Admiral Windbag”. Hopping excitedly from foot to foot he cried “What’s that father?”

Maximillian threw his son a banana eyeing him suspiciously. Not for the first time considering his son’s Mordorian mother, and what relevance this had to her offspring who could eat with his toes.

That is a coconut son. It’s a harmless fruit. Shortly thereafter Maximillian heard a choking sound from junior. The lads eyes were bugging from his furry little face. Maximillian slapped him soundly on the back and with a great gag, Maximillian jnr spat the coconut onto the foredeck where it bounced and rolled for some moments. Jnr sulked back over to the rail.

A short time later he was again waving excitedly at a hairy looking sphere, but this one was the size of a chariot. “What is it father?”

Maximillian rolled his eyes “It’s a coconut son”

“But it’s got ears!”

And so Admiral Gargal’s passing was mistaken for that of a strange fruit from a far off land. Oddly enough this had by no means been the first time he had been so described.

Vive la Winsten

Winston you are incorrect in assuming that Gargal was an Admiral, he was a lackey, a throw away. Adunaphel the Beautiful is also too wise for that & would not waste a valuable warrior on for such a mission.

We were on the second page, can’t let that happen again.
