A stray beam of moonlight fell through the sink hole in the cavern roof, it’s blue gossamer glow glittered upon the gemmed band of the Ring of Curufin. Shadows moved just beyond the circle of light… Free People and Dark Servants circling, waiting for the chance to snatch the prize.
Of a sudden the light went out plunging the cavern into darkness. Ren struck fast, his finger entering the ring, it’s crusty band encircling his finger. It wasn’t until he fled into the moonlight that he realised that the crusty band was in fact Adunnyphul’s cauliflower ear. Adunnyphul for her part looked positively beatific at having something a bit more interesting in there…
